ADRIENNE MALOOF & PAUL NASSIF MONEY TRUCE in Divorce

Adrienne Maloof and Paul Nassif agreed ... they would not try to screw the other out of money in their divorce ... striking a deal that essentially leaves both parties with whatever they came into the marriage with ... TMZ has learned.

We broke the story ... the 'Real Housewives' stars settled their divorce this morning after a breakup that got downright nasty.

Sources tell us the agreement was reached after both families stepped in to help mediate ... with Paul's brother, Chris Nassif, and Adrienne's brother, Joe Maloof leading the charge.

Of course, money COULD have been a major issue ... since they're both incredibly wealthy. But sources close to the former couple tell us the two hammered out a deal that will allow them to each keep the assets they brought into the union ... and split everything else they acquired during the marriage right down the middle.

As for custody of the couple's 3 sons ... we're told Adrienne and Paul agreed to a deal that is "very close to 50/50 custody."

One source close to the couple tells us, "They're both happy ... and they just want to move on with their lives."

Child Protective Services called AGAIN after Adrienne Maloof and Paul Nassif's son suffers from three broken fingers

Child Protective Services have been called again following an incident surrounding one of Adrienne Maloof and now ex-husband Paul Nassif's children.
This time they were formally notified after the former couple's six-year-old son Christian was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Beverly Hills on Monday by his mother, after breaking three of his fingers.
There is said to be mystery surrounding the incident, which is described as 'hard to explain.'

Incident: Child Protective Services have been called again after Adrienne Maloof and Paul Nassif's son Christian suffers from three broken fingers
'Anytime a child comes to the hospital and suffers a mysterious or hard to explain injury, Child Protective Services is immediately notified,' a source told Radaronline.com.
'In this case, because Christian suffered three broken fingers under mysterious circumstances, the attending physician in the emergency room reported the injury to Los Angeles County of Department of Children and Family Services.
'This is always done out of an abundance of caution, and is done for the safety and well being of the child, always.
'It is concerning that this is the second time that social workers have been notified about an incident involving Christian Nassif in the past two months.'
During the hospital visit social workers at the hospital allegedly took down a report regarding Christian's injuries.
'Adrienne allowed hospital staffers to interview Christian, and she gave a brief statement of her summary of event,' the source added.

'The report will be turned over to child protective services for follow-up, and they will definitely will want to talk to both Adrienne and Paul.'
In September, Nassif was investigated by the Los Angeles County of Department of Children & Family Services following allegations of abuse.
The investigation came after Maloof and Nassif's marriage counsellor Dr. Charles Sophy gave a sworn declaration surrounding one particular incident involving Nassif and his sons.
'On Sunday, September 16, 2012, Adrienne called and told me about an incident involving Paul and the children that occurred on Thursday, September 13, 2012,' it read.
'Specifically, Adrienne told me that Paul and the children were in the car when Paul became angry in response to Collin kicking Christian's seat, and that he tried to hit the kids while they were all in the car.'
Following the incident, Dr.Sophy conducted an interview with the children with Maloof and Nassif's permission.
'All three children appeared anxious and fearful,' Dr. Sophy noted.
'They are reluctant to share the details of what happened....I further learned that prior to my meeting with the children on Tuesday, a referral was made to the Department of Children and Family Services.
'I feel that DCFS is capable of determining the safety and risk issues to be mitigated and ensuring the children's safety and health.'
Following the incident Nassif was subsequently cleared of any wrongdoing.
Earlier this month Maloof and Nassif settled their divorce.
The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star and wealthy heiress tweeted about the news last Thursday saying she was pleased to have reached an agreement.
She wrote: 'Happy to have settled & looking forward to a positive future and co-parenting our 3 beautiful boys. Thanks to my fans for your support! xoA.'
Maloof, 51, and Nassif filed for a legal separation back in July.
But things turned nasty between the couple, with restraining orders and fighting over her would gain custody of their three sons.
The couple released a joint statement to TMZ last Wednesday through their representative Jim Yeager.
The statement does not give specifics on the settlement - but placed focus on their wish to provide a 'nurturing' relationship with their children.

Messy divorced aired: Adrienne's divorce will be featured on the current third series of the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
It read: 'We're happy to announce we have reached agreement on a settlement.
'There has been so much untrue negative innuendo and destructive rumors beyond our control.
'We want the best for each other and we're confident we can help each other make a continuing positive impact with our children.'
The statement added: 'Our goal is for our children to have stable and nurturing relationships with both of us so we can all find as much happiness as possible.'
It ended with:'We appreciate the good wishes we continue to receive from our supporters around the world.'

Paul Nassif wasn't lying when he claimed his 6-year-old son sustained hand injuries by falling off a carnival ride ... this according to carnival workers who filed an injury report that completely backs Paul's story.

The question ... was Adrienne Maloof lying when she told Children Services Paul abused the kid?

TMZ obtained the report, filed by two carnival workers moments after Christian injured himself on November 11.

According to the report, the carnival workers ... Christian "jumped off steps of ride exiting, fell on his hands." And that's how he was injured.

The report adds, "[Christian] wiped his hands off and didn't seem very concerned."

According to the report, the injuries to Christian's hands were nothing but a "slight scrape."

The account flies in the face of the story Adrienne told to the L.A. Dept. of Children and Family Services -- that the child was injured when Paul kicked him.

Adrienne was concerned Christian suffered broken fingers -- but the report says he was so unfazed, "he continued to ride other rides."

DCFS is currently investigating.

Adrienne is an idiot. She keeps trying to make Paul look bad but she's just getting caught in her lies. She needs to act like an adult for her children, SMH. What kind of mother lies about a father abusing their kids just because she doesn't like the guy? That is a serious allegation.
