Patent or lambskin mini??

I'm on the market for a new Chanel regular mini (I have a square now), and I can't decide if I like the patent more or lambskin more.... Which one holds its value better??

I also can't decide if I should get a black one or color one (thinking turquoise), does color hold value?

I personally prefer patent in fun colors, and lambskin in black. I think black lamb looks so luxurious, and colors in patent are fun and pop more. In terms of value, I'd think lamb would hold its value better if it's in good condition
