I keep trying to think about this... maybe my navy bag does get fingerprints and I just never really focused on them? I vaguely remember wiping them off, but it was never to the point that my eye was drawn to fingerprints or that's all I saw. I even carried it this summer.... LOL!

I got color transfer on the handles of my grey croc Lindsey from a jacket I was wearing. The freaky part is this jacket had been washed before, so one would assume it wouldn't bleed color. Now, I can't see myself owning any patent other than black.

I have the pond ergo too - one of my fave patents!

just fyi, my loves:
pond ergo - no fingerprints (textured)
rose zoe (bag & wallet) - no fingerprints (not textured)
antique gold madison tote - no fingerprints (kinda crinkly/textured)
camel gallery tote - no ringerprints (not textured)
mahogany gallery tote - no fingerprints

Ok, I wish I had some extra money. I would left the outlet today with a Poppy e/w textured patent leather satchel. So cute! It was more of a structured bag, but the texture was really cool. So, I guess I will be saving up! Hopefully, I can find one when I have the money.

Ok, I'm bumping this up instead of starting another thread.

Ok, I'm narrowing down my wants in a patent leather bag. I'm thinking the textured patent would work best for me. I'm hoping to have enough back from my taxes to purchase my first patent leather bag.

So, I want something a little on the larger size in greens, blues, reds, oranges or purples ...nothing too light. So, what bags do you guys recommend? What ones do you have that could fit in my wants?

I'd love to see pictures of your bags if you have them!

Thank you so much!

This is the large Sophia in navy patent. Not textured though.

Haha!! Just looked back and wanted to edit, the camera opening looks like a mouth!

I've never carried it like this but I think this is right? LOL

I just grabbed it from my closet with the stuffing in it.

Not sure what colors this came in? Again not textured sorry. I do know the Sophia did come on a textured woven patent?

This is the Audrey flagship tote in grey patent.

Sorry the dogs were invading my space. It's storming. I remember it came in navy now tho.

Another gorgeous bag! I like this color too! I think the texture on both of you bags would work for me. The glassy texture is too shiny. Yours have a nice sheen.

I prefer textured Patent over the smooth on bags only because of finger prints show up on the smooth more. Super for snow and rain, and so easy to care for !
Thanks! I really want patent for those exact reasons! I got caught in the rain with my new Campbell Izzy and though it faired quite well, I worried about it. But, if I don't have to take those risks even better.

I do like the hardware and straps on both of your bags. Thank you again for showing me pictures!

Absolutely! When I first bought mine I had friends that were very concerned that patent was only a dressy bag. Like so many bags, it depends on your attitude and the way you wear it! They are so much fun and I've always loved my patent bags! Glad I could be of help!
