Patent leather bag has transfer marks

I have been leaving my orange Miu Miu patent leather bag leaning against my brown Prada nappa leather bag.

Now there are brown stains in the patent leather.

Is there anyway I can clean it without damaging the patent leather.

Just kicking myself as I have kept the bag pristine for so many years!

No, you can't do anything about it. That's why I avoid patent leather unless it's LV Vernis in dark colors.

Try first on a small corner you can't see. I use the nail polish remover trick for my patent leather shoes that have scuff marks and have had no issues.

Yes, I did try this method on my shoes also and it worked. Hope it will work for bag also. Good luck!!!

I hate when that happens. Same thing happened with me with a few pairs of heels and I couldnt get it off with anything..not even nail polish remover

I've used the non-acetone nail polish remover when I've had tiny white marks on the corners of my dark vernis LV bag. I did it lightly and it took the white marks off without harming the patent leather.

However, my daughter had some white patent sandals that she somehow got brown stains on. Instead of removing the brown stains the nail polish remover took off the shiny patent finish.

Oh no! I been considering getting the LV alma bb >.< in rose ballerine, cause I've been having issues with all my prada items including my boyfriends....I'm so rough with my stuff...just I don't want to get prada because of the quality... =/
