My HG bag is this one: The legacy 10328 in Pond or Rose (borrowed photo)......I just love the look of this bag and the lining NICE.......Maybe you all should tell me what the going rate for these are?????......There is a Rose on the bay for over 500 and I refuse to pay that much for a used bag.......The Pond is around some, but I am not sure how much I should expect to pay for that color.....

If you see one PLEASE let me know.

I have no idea how much that should cost but I'm loving the bag in the picture :drool: Love, love, love the color on that design.

Well, a couple of weeks ago I would have said the red patent peyton, but I found it.

Then it was the apple green Zoe, medium, & I found that. You all know what that looks like.


I think I would one I won't find right away. ~Purple patent Bleeker bag 13780 (a la Bunny)~

Yeah see, what do we do AFTER we find out HG bags? Everything else is a let down.....or is actually FINDING your dream bag the let down, because you have won the chase?

I think everyone that knows me here knows it is The Atlantic Lily one day she will be mine and then it will be on to a Luci, Francine, peyton, Haptons vintage hobo, and a leigh so does it ever stop you will always have an HG bag as soon as you find the first one, lol I think my goal is to have all of theese bags in my possesion by the end of the year, and nice new frontloader washer/dryer. Guess mama's gotta get a part time job now, lol.

oops I never pay attention lol. The lily is my HG just becuase of the sheer beauty of it who knows it just depends on my finances at the time the bag becomes available to me I love to shop but I am not so far gone that I don't reason

My HG bags are my whiskey and teal Gigis. I would have paid up to $400 apiece for them but I didn't have to, thankfully. They're my holy grail bags because of the thick, vachetta leather, the marvelous turnlocks, the over-all expensive-uptown-posh design and the way they lie flat against my body and fit on my shoulder just right.

You make them bags sound real sexy :p But it's always good to have bags that fit you just right!

After you find your HG, buy it and enjoy it. "Everything else" (I assume you mean other purses) shouldn't matter too much if you have found your IT bag really. If you have won the chase in finding your HG, I would expect the "winning" to at least make you feel satisfied and thrilled instead of feeling disappointed just because the chase is over :shrugs: But again, to each their own :smile1:

lol! Notice I didn't mention how heavy they are and how I cannot carry it often because of the weight!:sneaky:

edit: Also, HG doesn't really mean to me that it's my favorite everyday bag. I give that award to my ergos! Bags are like women, there's the pretty models who probably don't know how to cook or clean then there's the average-looking women who are experts around the house. Men like them both but use them for different reasons. lol Don't we treat our bags this same way?? Gigi is for looks! My ergos are my workhorse everyday comfy bags.
