Past or Present, what is/was your Holy Grail bag?

In 1962, my relatives in New York took me to see a Broadway musical, "No Strings." This was the only show that Richard Rogers wrote alone, music and lyrics, without a collaborator like Oscar Hammerstein. It starred Diahann Carroll as a fashion model in Paris and Richard Kiley as a photographer. I loved the show itself, but all through it, Diahann Carroll carried a crocodile Hermès Kelly bag, an I was transfixed. My handbag obsession was born in that evening in the theatre, and forever more my Holy Grail has been that Kelly.
Birkins may have become the rage, but, for me, it will always be the Kelly. Coincidentally, my semi Holy Grail is the Mark Cross Traveler, that gorgeous bag that Grace Kelly used as her overnight case in the movie, "Rear Window."

That's a really cool story, barskin. Thanks for sharing it. You have been obsessed with bags for a long while:smile1:. I bet you have some real beauties!

 Grace Kelly in "Rear Window."
That's a great story, barskin. And, I totally understand.

My Holy Grail WAS the all vachetta Caroline satchel from 2011, I think -- whatever the special 70th anniversary bag was. I STUPIDLY sold her and have regretted it ever since. My gosh, that leather was gorgeous. I dream about it......

As silly as it sounds given my love of the more simplistic Coach designs; my HG is and has been for the past 3 years... the Coach Poppy Tartan Overnight Satchel (in the silver/blue; not that awful purple/orange mess), I have the glam tote (my first ever Coach bag) and I somehow discovered that the overnight satchel existed about a year later but I've yet to find one anywhere! If anyone sees one, please let me know!
Also, after seeing another user post a picture of theirs, I've been obsessed with the Berry Alexandra! One came up on ebay but the seller had thrown out the hangtags <--blasphemy! lol

My nicest bag that I own would be the Madison Pinnacle Carrie in Cornflower. I read that another person thought that the cornflower color was too greyish and drab but I thought mine was a beautiful shade of silver/blue. It's very sophisticated looking but a little heavy and loud.

Right now, it would have to be the Bleeker Daily!! This bag is just right in so many ways. From the price, to the leather! I love how it can be carried in multiple ways and it's light in weight.
I hope to see more colors..

I love Dior. My HG would be a Miss Dior.
For looks alone, it would be a Lady Dior for me, especially the matte black with the camouflage lining designed by Ansel Reyne they had a few years ago. I just don't know if I could handle the tight opening.

There was also a stingray Chanel flap last year that was gorgeous.

I love all my Coach babies. It is impossible to pick one to be my Holy Grail.
