Jackie Kennedy's VCA engagement ring; diamonds and emerald. She had it remodelled in 1963.
As there was no inauguration for Gerald Ford, this dinner with Empress Farah Diba of Iran was her first formal appearance as First Lady. No ID on Betty's jewels but I'm sure the Empress's were real!

I am keeping my eyes peeled for info. I haven't found anything yet about the Red Cross Ball earrings or the Inauguration Day diamonds but I am so curious about the provenance of each set! I keep coming back to Graff, at least for the Inauguration earrings, because of her ring but haven't read for sure.
No attribution for the diamond earrings worn by Lady Bird Johnson in her official White House portrait but they are so classic and timeless, the brand doesn't really matter...

I would love to see what the ring looked like before the remodel. I suspect I would have loved it even more! I have had problems finding a picture prior to The additional diamonds. Thanks for the great pic!

Photos of the original Jackie Kennedy engagement ring are few and far between. This isn't great, but I think based on descriptions that it was more of a princess style, with tapered baguettes surrounding the emerald. She added the large square cut diamond and the marquise stones. I quite like the redesign, though. It's very pretty and unique.
I've seen the one at the top/above referenced as the original style, but these are not baguettes. it does look similar to the ring on her hand, though.
