How many are planning to be there on the first day..? I'm planning a visit to Paris w kids in June, and I could squeeze in a mothership/lunch meeting on the 22nd.

I may be there... Would an afternoon tea somewhere work? Given the unknowns (the line outside, the line at the registers, and the inevitable painfully long decisions!) I may not make it out by lunch...

Just an idea.

Will arrive there on the afternoon of 23rd. Would like to know if they will replenish the stock each morning or not. If they will, think I will try to get up early on the 24th. Otherwise just go on the 23rd afternoon. Many thanks!

They replenish the scarves and some other items, but not the jewellery or SLGs, so far as I remember. I don't think there's too much difference in what you'll find on the evening of the 23rd versus what you'll find on the 24th.

Afternoon tea sounds great. I'm working on a EuroDisney-Paris plan this weekend. When I'm done I'll return.

Well, I've booked flights, yey! Anyone who's inn for afternoon tea on the 22nd, pls confirm here. Please note: All discussions after that regarding venue and time will be by PM to those who have enough posts/are established enough.

Oh, you will make it, you're so experienced, you've seen the good, the bad and the plain evil, as in ladies with canes as weapons:p. I won't be attending the sale, I will attack FSH instead, I have to shorten my wishlist somehow.

Ok ladies, greetings from Paris where my saleslady confirmed the dates of the Hermes Spring 2011 sale. It starts on 22 June and ends on Saturday, 25 June. This year it is VERY UNUSUAL that Hermes sale coincides with start date for the legally mandated 'soldes' of Paris. Please do not get them confused because then you could be disappointed. "Soldes" (French for sales) are usually restricted by government for each city to specific times of year and dates; Paris is 22 June through 26 July but by end of soldes there is really nothing.

Hermes sale is at Port Maillot and public transport or taxis are available. If you do not have Press or VIP invitation already, you will be standing in line but at least there should not be snow! Even the chicest woman de Paris wear low heels and easy dresses during soldes.
