Yes, there were. I got in around 5pm. There weren't many designs though. They said they'll be restocking (I thought the carres were pretty cleaned out).

Yes women go crazy for them!!!
I'm going to try on Friday I'm excited :D, price wise is it good or not?

I got a Brides de Gala Bayadère silk jersey scarf with green/black stripes and also two gavroches. I may go back to check out the restocked carres. I was thisclose to getting two that I really wanted.

Pricing:
The silk jersey scarf (90) was 282 from 470.
Gavroches were 45 was 78 from 130.
Carres were175 from 310.
I think the twillys were 60ish.

This was my first Paris sale. It is much better than the NYC one. By the time that I got there at 5:15 AM, they had already let people into the building to wait. Since there were no leather goods (other than dog accessories, carrier, collars, and leashes) there was no point in arriving as early as I did. My friends that had arrived at 7:45 AM entered about an hour after I had and spent less time waiting than I did. I wish that I had gone to the carres (Brides de Gala en Finesse, Sichuan, Mythiques Phoenix, Din Tini Ya Zue, La Vie du Grand Nord, Rhythm of China) first since by the time that I got there, there were no more Ex Libris en Kimono scarves.

There were plenty of twillies (63 euro, I saw bouldocs, lily pads, mustangs, le boubou H, some dip dyed ones, and an orange coaching) and cashmere shawls (400 something, cent plis de miao, La Charmante aux Animaux, and bouldocs are the only names that I remember) though at times the line for this section was very long. I think my friends waited about an hour.

I ended up buying 2 twillies to wrap my handles and a pair of black flats. My friends bought much more than I did. It just depends on what you're looking for.

Finally, I just want to thank the very nice gentleman who was on line right behind me who shared his coffee. Not sure I would have made it through the sale without it.

Wow your description is so amazing I can feel your love for Hermès and your knowledge. I've just entered the hermès sphere and don't know much from it. But it seems like everything they have at the sales is AMAZING.

I've read some blogs and everyone says it's worth it.

I think Hermès can be proud to have such lovers of their craft. It astounds me how dedicated their clients are.

I'll let you guys know if I managed scoring anything :)

Good luck!!! Dedication was the woman in front of me online who came from Japan just for the sale. She flew in to Heathrow at 4 AM and went directly to the sale with her suitcase!

Good luck to everyone at the sale today. I'm curious to see how much they restocked and what they restocked. Maybe I should have stayed a day or two longer in Paris. :graucho:

I had to miss this sale due to a scheduling conflict, but I would love to hear more about it. Was there a good selection of CS shawls? Did anyone see items you would not expect to see? How much of a discount from retail? Did they restock on following days? Looking forward to hearing more and wishing I was there.

I was so tempted to go to the sale this year too. But had to come back to the states for meetings..sigh..anyhow, would anyone please share some reveal photos? I would love to see your lovely hauls!!! :hugs:

Still in the palais and found NOTHING, quite disappointed ...;(

I wonder if the restocking got less exciting, but it is also Saturday, so I'm sure it was really packed today? What did you see?

This is what I got from left to right:
Silk jersey scarf from a Brides de Gala collection (not sure which one).
Carre from F/W 2010 Les Sangles de Phoebus.
Gavroches. Not sure what the green one is from. The last one is the "carre en cravates" from Spring 2011.

I'm pretty new to Hermes. I was thinking of going back on Monday, but think I will just stop here :)

There was only one style of gavroche left :( annnd no twillies !!?? It wasn't as packed my bf and me entered without queuing, he didn't like it though, nor the style nor the sellers (?!?). He found them condescending (and he is French lol). We went to lancel after and he bought a lovely wallet... I didn't find anything but I went to some awesome salles de vente (auction house). And have seen a birkin over there with many Louis VEeeee and Chanel (keeps on being my fave). Fingers crossed :)

Hi all,

Just wondering if someone has an update about when the H. sales will be held this year?
And is it going to be held at the Palais du Congrès again like previous seasons?
It wasn't my intention to go to the sales but I just heard I have to go to Paris for a few days in June or Juli so I was wondering if anyone has more information about the dates for the Paris H. sales :graucho:.

Dear **Chanel**, did you make it to the sale this time?
