All this information has been discussed in various threads. Please do a search and you should find several threads about previous sale events and after events reports by TPFers.

Thank you for that.

What are the chances of scoring a constance Mini Epsom PHW in the store sale? Is it wishful thinking. What is the cost of one these beauties at retail?

I've seen some on *bay at $7000+ :girlsigh:

Sorry I'm bit late in reading this but there is absolutely no chance whatsoever to find a Constance at this sale, even mini ones. My home H store alone currently has 75 outstanding Constance orders. Last time in Jan sale, there were some canvas bags which I'm not familiar with.

That baby was probably the youngest person who's ever attended a H sale!

Well well, for Beatles that's a different story. I wouldn't all that crazy at all!

Unfortunately I won't be going this July! Good luck with those who are!

Ah! youth and the Beatles--thank you for your support!

Also, thank you for pointing newcomers to the rather lengthy discussions and suggestions regarding the sales at Porte Maillot. It must be boring to have to read/reply to the same questions every year---and the anecdotes are fun to read from those who shopped!

Very, very important overlap in addition to the General French Soldes (Sales) in Paris, is that the Hermes sale dates also are running during the Haute Couture Shows --July 2 through July 7th; Accessories Shows and Mens Shows end of June through approx July 5 or 6. At least it is not September so that all the decor, antique and RTW shows also compete for hotel rooms, taxis, standing room on Metro, Eurostar tickets, etc!

This is also more complicated this year by numbers coming to France and UK for the big celebrations for the Queen and the Olympics---reservations are almost impossible to get now, so plan accordingly.

All these fashion shows and people from Vogue, Elle, etc plus front row types will probably also go to the various Hermes stores in Paris---no idea if they would bother with standing in line for Hermes sale. But the Hermes stores will be extra extra busy and crowded and competitive for few handbags there may be in stock.

As for Hermes RTW on sale---if I could afford it I would buy it! It is very very beautiful and elegant even if not this season---there are classics and if you love Hermes leathers what is better than a suede or leather skirt?

In January there were no belts, few slg, some boots and shoes and ties, scarves, men shirts and RTW.

Enjoy! But expect more crowding, street traffic and delays than usual.

Hi tpfs

Paris experts, I hope it's okay to ask this here-- I can't find anything definitive in earlier threads, and I'm afraid to trust information elsewhere online, as it might be outdated. Do any of you happen to know if luggage lockers are available in the train stations in Paris? (Info on the East station would be particularly advantageous.) I'd like to take a train in from Berlin, and it would be great to have the option of stowing a small case at the station.

Hi,yes there are lockers at the train stations-I think it's only Gare st lazare that doesn't.Gare du nord and the big stations all will have lockers.

6.30/7am??? :wtf: And I thought the Chanel and Christian Louboutin sample sale was hardcore.

Haha, last time I went to the Paris H. sales, I arrived at 05:00 am. It was quite a wait, but luckily we had some good company :smile1:.
I decided not to go to the sales this year, but I am looking forward to hear the stories from those who are going.

You are a true early bird, **Chanel**! The earliest I ever made it was 12noon! :D No wonder I couldn't find anything nice!
