I believe Porte Maillot is the close set metro station, and I see that I need exit 1. Once I am outside, though, is it obvious where to go for the sale? I don't want to wander around aimlessly.

Pollywaffle, I'll not be there the last days, I'm sorry about this, it would have been a pleasure to go with you! When out of the métro Porte Maillot, take the main entrance of Palais des Congrès. Go to 1rst floor with the escalator. Then go on your right, and you will see a big place organized for lining up. You're arrived! ;) Good luck and have a great time there! :smile1:

Can someone confirm that small leather goods (e.g., wallets, card cases) WON'T be on sale at the biannual event??

And will there be any sales *after* January 18? I'm arriving a few days too late, and am wondering if there will be lingering sales at Palais des Congrès. (Wishful thinking, I know.)

Yes, joshilin, I can confirm you'll not find SLG on sale.

As for H sales, after Jan 18 it will be over. That said, you'll find plenty of sales on other brands everywhere in Paris. HTH :smile1:

Dear Anfang, like yourself I usually go there on Thursdays, so I went last winter the second day and the waiting time to enter was more than one hour! What was your experience mid-day the second day? did you go last summer? (i did not) Thanks for the return

You're welcome, my dear Juss, I did not go either last June. I too went last winter, at something like 11:45, and I had to line up for around 15 mn. 1pm is usually the best moment. I did this for the 2012 June sale, and directly entered without queuing up 1 mn! ;)

Thank you Anfang! I realise we were there at the same time, although probably I arrived one hour earlier, but had to wait to enter. I will not hurry this time if I go!
Did you like the choice of GM shawls last winter sale? This would be on my list together with a moussline...

You're welcome, Juss! I did not pick any shawl last Winter. I did not like either the design, either the cw... I have ended with a 140 dip-dye, a 140 summer twill, a 140 mousse, and a 90 jersey, which was not too bad, after all! More than once, I ended finding nothing! ;)

thank you for reply! that was still pretty good. i bought only 90s and the designs and colours were so so, hope it will be better this year. BUT i bought great shoes, so i was happy. well, good hunt to everyone who manages to go there!
