Sorry for the confusing posts Hokaplan! I really LOVE trollbeads. Those are definitely my favorite! I like a few of the Pandora beads, but troll always wins :) However, if someone gifted me a Pandora, I would wear it!

Same here! I don't think anything can beat the glass Trollbeads. They are so beautiful and there's so much variety!

darkangel - what kind of deals have you heard?
I have 3 retailers within a 1/2 hour from my home that I've been talking to regularly. The only deals I heard are buy 3 get a $31 bead free (glass) or buy an upgraded lock and get the bracelet free. But no one mentioned a trunk show to me.

Yes, those are the same deals I have heard! And supposedly a trunk show, though I am not sure what that means... I might go visit a shop north of me, I have heard that they have quite a selection!

I am thinking about starting a pandora or a trollbead bracelet. I have a few fake pandora beads. I like that they screw down. But which is actually better. I think they both are beautiful. I need help deciding. Does anyone have pros and cons?

my mom has a chamilia, which also screws down like pandora. personally, I find the screwing gets old quick. at first it was fun but soon, every time I wanted to switch up the beads or combo... omg. so pointless. and with pandora, you can't fit on some of those gorgeous trollbeads, but with a trollbeads base, you can put on any bead!

plus you can get stoppers for safety, if you're worried about beads accidentally falling off.

but, why not go in store and try it on for yourself? the pandora bracelet is lighter in color, and looks different than trollbeads. pandora is more classic, trollbeads is more fantastic.

Well, I feel that Pandora and Trollbeads are two different looks. I like them both, but I love Trollbeads... Also, the glass Trollbeads, in my opinion, are much more intriguing than Pandora's, which can look a bit dull in comparison.
However, I have seen some Pandora bracelet combinations that are STUNNING. there is one poster on the Pandora thread that has a bracelet that I would definitely use as my inspiration. Everytime I look at her bracelet, I want a Pandora!
But I will always LOVE TRollbeads... They are more organic and I like the philosophy and the family ownership of it.

I have both and would say have one of each, so I dont know that I'm much help! lol :graucho:

I like the screw on beads as well and to me the Pandora bracelet itself has a more polished feel, since the sections for clips helps it to hold it's shape. I prefer the Pandora silvers, they have a better selection, they're shinier and they're less expensive. I would say that the Pandora silvers are more polished looking while the Trolbead silvers are kinda new agey/hippie - lots of faces, actual trolls, symbols etc.

The Trollbeads definitely win for the glass beads, while I look at Pandora glass beads as an accent, with Trollbeads they're the star of the bracelet! They have a terrific selection and you'll find so many beautiful ones you will have a hard time choosing!

I am working on a Trollbead bracelet now and I'm having a harder time styling it than I had with my Pandora, the free form nature of it, plus the fact that I'm drawn to so many different glass beads is forcing me to slow down and really think about how to have them so they blend well together.

Whatever you decide you'll have a fun, I don't think you can go wrong with either and like me you might end up with both. :smile1:

..yes girlsss......i'm totally addicted.......saturday i went out for shopping....and i came back with a trollbead charm!!..
price in italy will increase the 1 february!!
my boyfriend bought for me this charm..
