Bittersweet news...
There is a Pandora - only shop opening up in my mall. While I found it to be very exciting, especially since it will be Pandora only and not part of a regular jewelry shop, I feel like the market is going to be glutted with Pandora. There is already a Ben Bridge's jewelers in the mall that sells Pandora, but they are at the one of the ends of the mall, so they might get affected. The Pandora only shop is going to be in a very high traffic area.
Then there is also a Jared's across the street from the mall that sells ALOT of Pandora. But people are definitely going to go to Pandora inside the mall, because it will be more convenient...
So, there is already two Pandora shops, a third one coming in...
I wish I had the money to have opened up a Trollbeads - only shop before Pandora moved in... It would have been fun! :)

I'm jealous! I have to drive an hour and a half to get to a store that has a small selection of Pandora, and 2 hours and 40 mins to get to a Pandora concept store.

I was at the concept store this past Sunday and in that same mall was Finks Jewelers, where I had gotten some beads I wanted to exchange. They said that due to the Pandora store being in the mall they were unable to sell Pandora beads there, but could at their other locations. So apparently there is some kind of agreement to limit the competition from jewelers with the concept store.

Interesting, good to know.
Wow that is so far for you! It hasn't opened here yet, but the nearest concept store to me was in San Francisco... That was nearly two hours away.
I just wish it was a Trollbeads store! :shucks:

In the UK there is an independent that sells Pandora, but as Pandora decided they wanted to open a concept store in the same town they took it on - otherwise they feared for the inde shop... It works quite well the store is huge and the advisor there is very creative

I have both Pandora and Trollbeads and much prefer Trollbeads! :p In fact, I wish I had not bought any Pandora (I found it first). It's difficult for me to switch around the beads on my Pandora bracelet because of all the threads. Also, my Pandora beads seem to need constant polishing (they look dull and scratched very quickly), whereas I only have to polish my Trollbeads once or twice a year with lots of wear. I love the selection of Troll glass and prefer their silver as well. Pandora is very cutesy. Troll is more sophisticated, IMHO. Pandora is everywhere. I like that I rarely see anyone else with a Troll bracelet. I am quite understated in my jewelry tastes and like classic, timeless designs, if that helps. :D

Totally agreed, and now I am in the mixed-and-match mode. This is my Pandora-Redbalifrog mixed 👍ImageUploadedByPurseForum1414650738.809376.jpg

This is my first trollbeads bracelet (silver) and I love the weave of the bracelet. However, I feel it looks more like stainless steel than silver. Do they do something different to the silver? It is stamped and was bought from an authorized Troll Beads dealer so I know it's genuine. Any comments would be greatly appreciated!
