Pandora versus Trollbeads

Have any of you all tried Ohm beads? I have found several that would go well with the farily tale theme my daughter is working on and I was wondering about quality?

Pandora seems to be my favorite but I have mixed in a bead from Chamila (snowflake) and two Swarvosky crystal beads from Kay Jewlers, which ironically when I wear my bracelet out the crystal beads are the ones that attract compliments.

I have a couple Ohm beads! some of the pictures look kind of cartoony, but I have been impressed with all the ones I have gotten or seen pictures of IRL, very good detail!! They are nice weighty beads too, in that I feel they are definitely genuine 925 silver.

This was the LAST thing I needed to read! I'm already collecting Pandora, Troll and Beachcomber!

I looked them up and rather like them, especially the enamelled ones such as this ...

Oops! :graucho: It's very pretty!

Since we're posting pics of their beads, I mentioned my daughter has a fairytale theme going on and looking for beads we found these by Ohm -

For Sebastian, have you ever seen a cuter crab? I think not, lol

All also available via Amazon. These are not my thing but they are adorable and they fit her bracelet and her personality perfectly! She's 18 but still watches and rewatches all the disney movies.

I have been on a bit of a bead frenzy... Buying up sale Trollbeads, and also trying to grab a few regular priced ones before they go up in price...
It's funny... Tiffany's is going up around the same time... I wonder if Pandora is going to go up too?

Phew! Bead frenzy is over. By the time I get paid again, the prices for Trollbeads will have gone up.
So this is what I ordered:
*from www.iluvallbeads.com I ordered Deep Bubbles, Florence, and the Crab
*from www.trollbeadsatthecommons.com I ordered Conch, and the Trollbead Coin
*from www.trollbeads-baden-baden.de I ordered the Frog Prince, and a OOAK glass bead for my sister
Now I am done for a long time! And I am proud to say that I have used my own hard earned cash, not relying on credit. Yea! I had to buy a few here and there, so the shops probably think I am crazy... But that's how it goes!
My goal is to have a dual theme... The Trollbead Coin will be in the center, and one side of the bracelet will be pond/lake, and the other side beach/ocean.
:)

Good for you for using cash!

Hello! I am new here, and found the forum when I was researching Trollbeads. I was wondering whether anyone could help with how big I should buy the bracelet. It struck me it might need to be a little bigger than normal to leave room for the beads. Can anyone help?
Thanks! :smile1:

The bracelet does need to be bigger than your regular wrist size. Also keep in mind that the bracelet size includes the lock (which is NOT included with bracelet purchase). It's odd...if you have a local LD, that is the best way to get sized. They will usually let you try on several sizes of full bracelets to see which is most comfortable. Otherwise, it is usually recommended to add 2-2.5 cm to the overall length.

I've just been through the same thing and googled how to find my correct size troll bracelet. The instructions I found all said to measure your wrist with a measuring tape, held fairly tight and add about an inch. I went a little over because I like a roomy bracelet.

As mentioned, although the clasps are sold seperately they count in the size of the bracelet you order, so if you ordered a bracelet and no clasp it would seem short until you add the clasp.

Having not yet received my bracelet (stalking the mailman, haha) I don't know how the clasp is added... :p

we've actually calculated the length a bracelet ought to be at another forum. worn full, you'll need at LEAST 4 cm bigger than your wrist (in total; including lock). I found that to be true.
