The Budda bead has been released in the uk but only concept dealers can get it. Was told that at a launch at our local jewellers by a Pandora rep. Apparently UK dealers aren't as restricted to the same shipping rules but we can't get the travel boxes etc.

I was disappointed with the lariats. Loved the coulours but they are very thin. Thought they would be made out of thicker cord.

I got the champagne colored double leather bracelet and one of the wooden beads yesterday as a birthday present from my future MIL. LOVE them both. The champagne is metallic, it almost looks silver - its very pretty and would be great if you didn't want to go black or brown. It will match anything. She got me the longer of the two lengths that the double comes in so it can also be a choker (hadn't thought of that idea yet).

I just bought my mum that bracelet with a white murano for her birthday and i know what you mean about the metallicness of it its very interesting looking yours sounds great too :)

A student in my class (I teach 5th grade) just got a Pandora bracelet this past weekend. She was so excited to bring it in and show me. She has a green "captivating" murano glass bead and the monkey bead with the mama and baby. She thought she was getting it for Christmas, but her mom and aunt decided to give it to her early because then they will have more fun buying her presents.

She spent our recess time looking in her catalog with her friends and they were building wishlists and drawing out what their bracelets would look like on scrap paper! It was too funny. I kept thinking that they were doing the non-tech version of our forum! Now I am wondering how many girls in my class will put Pandora on their Christmas wish lists this year.

i noticed that the leather lariat is more expensive than the fabric - is the leather more hardwearing or something? Has anyone seen them in the shop?

The leather lariat has larger silver/gold ends, so your beads won't fall out when you fold the leather in half and thread the beads on.
The string lariats have smaller metal ends, so beads will fall out without a knot.

I think leather will spoil much faster if you change the beads often and make knots. I like the string lariats. I knot them and take them out many times and the string never gets damaged.

Both the string and leather are very light feeling. Please do not do what I did and forget you have it on. I was wearing a small red leather one on its own because I wanted just a hint of colour on the neck. Went into shower and had red dye running down me. opps not a good look. The necklace is still good. We live to learn.

Hi ladies.i'm loving my pandora!
i bought my first two murano sterling silver beads today..blue and purple :D
