ChocolateAlful, where in Melbourne exactly? So far, I've just been buying at retail prices. Any suggestions would be fantastic!
:woohoo:

zoebeee, I've been thinking about Muranos as well. It's hard to choose!

I cannot wait for the peace sign charm, peace signs are a bit of an odd addiction of mine.
I purchased my first Murano bead today, the clear pink with flowers. It only took me 4 months to pick, and they only had one, so now im thinking my other 2 should be either the white polka dots or hearts.

Zoebeee i totally agree with the peace sign obsession and can't wait for it to be released!! I love the white murano too .

I think it took me so long to decide what colour as I think the Murano defines the whole tone of the bracelet.
I have slowed down a bit after regretting some bead choices after wearing them for a while then taking them off and throwing them in my jewellery box
If I spent 200 today I could have gotten the travel box...... It was very tempting.
I cant get to my favourite seller easily any more (who has a loyalty program) so I didn't want to spend too much anyway.
I need pictures of the Peace sign charm, I attempted to attach my Pilgrim Charm to my pandora and it looked pretty stupid

Hello, I just want to introduce myself. I have been lurking for a little while but have now gone and got myself started on a bracelet so thought I would come and join in the fun:yahoo:
I went to the jewellers to get my watch fixed, he had the Pandora box on the counter and that was it! I couldn't stop thinking about the darn things for days.
Well £263 later and I am hooked but I have to say I don't think I have loved a possession as much at this bracelet, in fact I am not materialistic in the slightest, bags, shoes, clothes don't do it for me, neither did jewellery until this:nuts:
I am now going to fill this one up very, very soon and I WILL have to get number 2 on the go!
I will post pics very soon.
Can I ask any UK members if they know the price and source of the pink suede jewellery box? I tried the internet shops but no joy, it just might have to make the long way around trip from Auntie Jans' in Oz;)

from what I understand, the pink (or mauve as they seem to call it) box is discontinued to be replaced with the tan. Some stores still have them, you may just have to call around

Can ask advice on retired beads please? To make things hard for myself I am going to do a bracelet with these.
I have got a list together of about 50+ beads from around the net and there are varying prices being asked for them - yet - on the official Pandora site some of the beads are still listed on their current stock list with regular selling prices.
What makes the beads a higher value at other outlets surely everyone will just go to Pandora direct or am I missing something?
Any help with this would be appreciated.

Thanks cyndiinphilly for your reply
My problem is that if I search the UK solely on the internet for this item absolutely nothing comes up locally and when I click into UK stores and stockists there are no references to the jewellery box, yet if I do a web search it gets listed and it appears on an Australian site that I might have to try to arrange to purchase it from.

I have been looking for it in England too and have never seen it or any of the other colours for that matter!

Hi!

I needed to post a reminder that there's to be no buying/selling/trading or advertising on tPF at all.
This includes sales associates form stores and this also includes asking people to get one for you and you'll pay them for it; this = a transaction. This also includes doing this via private messaging.
These are in our rules and we will ban you for it.

re: the retired beads. Most are retired from the US mainly, so the sites here tend to charge way more than retail. Many are still available in Aus and the UK, so snap them up when you see them. Our pandora site in the US does not sell, so we cannot purchase directly from them. I hope this helps a little.

So there is 'something' that we here in the UK are able to get at a favourable rate in regards to Pandora! Hooray!!

*off to track down pretty retired charms>>>>>>>>>>*

PS I have found the pink jewellery box.

Actually, the retail prices are not better, but the outrageous prices for the 'bay and private sellers make UK prices look great.

For those asking I got the little jewelry boxes with each bracelet purchase.

The jeweler should have them, no? Ask if they can get it for you. :graucho: As far as I'm concerned it should come standard with your beautiful purchase.

Oh! SO many new and beautiful bracelets. them all! SWOON!!

Mine is "done." I swapped out the silver/gold bee for the solid gold and exchanged (I don't know all the names of the beads yet... GAH) one for a pretty silver/gold flower with diamonds. Now I just "need" one more dangle. I want to balance it out with four since my Love Bouquet doesn't take up enough space, leaving room. I don't want a teeny spacer. It all has to balance. :girlwhack:

Going to take pics anyway and post them. I'm so pleased with it, however I'm thinking of light green Muranos or the yellow and blue. Wondering about the wood beads too. :lecture:

Here it is... you can see where I want to switch out the Love Bouquet for a Dangle on the right side:

The Queen Bee says, "Hello." :cutesy:

She's an "early anniversary" gift I am told. Haha. :)

Hi Girls. More great collections coming along nicely. Mine has been at a stand still due to lack of funds but still love what I have got.

PandoraFan- where did you get the travel box from?? Also in UK and been looking for months.
