Hi Ladies

Thanks for your kind wishes. I will try to organise some photos. I am a techotard. I really must learn now that I have something so cute to take photos of.

Motherhood is better than I had ever expected. I find delight in all the "jobs" and I hope that doesn't change. (mind you that doesn't stop me groaning when getting up at 0200 to feed :p). She is a pleasure of a baby

I have pulled my pandora necklace and bracelet apart today. I need to take my bracelet into the jeweller for a new gold clasp. Mine has worn and is not very safe. Seeing that I have a few gold ones now I am not going to risk it. So I think I will change around my necklace daily until I can afford the clasp (I think they are over $300). The jeweller will then make my old clasp into a "bead" so I can still wear it. I wonder if I will get a clasp with a crown on it as mine is an old one.

Today I wore a "family" necklace. My two gold angels and the gold cross with pink stones for my lost babies, my gold little girl for my DSD, my DH and my two tone initials and our wedding cake. I was very grateful for my gold pram. I know it DIDN'T fit in the budget, as you can imagine our circumstances have changed.

I can't wait to start my daughter a bracelet. What do you think should be her first beads? I am thinking the I love you for starters. I'd love some suggestions.

A thread after my own heart! :tender:

WOW! ...Several hours worth of reading later and I have finally managed to read up on all the posts from this thread, and also back-read the former...
Oh, the intoxication of Pandora! I have had so much fun adoring all the wonderful creations. I am all but lost to lust! :D

Having JUST experienced my own bite from the bug after receiving a bracelet for my recent 21st (accompanied with enough charms, plus 1 extra, (all surprises) to fill it all up from family and friends, and of course the boyfriend... the one who started it all off, the sweetie that he is...), I would very much like to share my creation with you.

SO, it gives me great pleasure to present to you the bracelet that took just 6 hours to complete - start to finish - a record in itself, no!?

Welcome to the Pandora obsession. You have made quite the head start filling up your first bracelet so fast. I say first because I am sure that like us, you will have many bracelets. We are here to enable and encourage,no, urge you, to get MORE MORE Pandora. LOL. Enjoy your beautiful bracelet and Happy 21st Birthday.

LipGlossQueen, thank you for the birthday well wishes. I think you will be very proud of where the birthday spends have been frittered... YES... on a second bracelet! (I maintain that I had to!) I couldn't see the one remaining charm that would not (for the want of trying) fit on the bracelet go without a home, could I! ...Likewise, neither could it go without a little friend... ;) (My boyfriend bought the kangaroo to keep my Ugly Duckling company.)

Smiles all round! :D

I was so happy to read this message over coffee while I started my day. I remember last year when we were mourning your loss. I am beyond happy for your joy today. And send you so many good wishes for the future. :hugs:

hi all just found this site and just had to join lol.
i love pandora and started collecting in december 09.
i am well tempted to buy the gold pram with the pink sapphires.

coconkally, welcome! :D
The gold pram with the pink sapphires is a gorgeous charm, you should take this Pandora-push and run with it at full speed all the way to the store, lol. Buy, buy, buy! (Did you honestly expect us to take any other role than the devils on your shoulder...)

lol i have been thinking about it for a while my other half would kill me lol well at £370 for one charm he would but its gorgeous lol.
i see your from cheshire as well, i will be going into stockport at the weekend i may have to visit the pandora shop.:yahoo:

Lol - I can relate! Gold charms are (at least for now) priced well out of my budget, especially at UK prices! ...Think it's safe to say two-tone is the nearest I'll be getting to any gold for a while!
Yes, I'm from Cheshire too - near Chester. :woohoo: You'll have to report back to us on your purchase(s) after your Stockport visit at the weekend. How exciting! Until then... a fair few days to contemplate the pram... ;)

I did a little research last night, and found around the US there are people selling their bracelets on Craigslist. If you are shopping for charms, you may be able to talk that person in to selling the charms individually.

Use caution shopping on Craigslist (fakes), and don't go alone to meet a stranger to see merchandise. I've recently read some bad news stories on that subject.

luvshopping90 and kirbymax - thank you for the bracelet compliments, though it would be ill-mannered of me not to return... You two have such gorgeous bracelets! :flowers:

cowleyduck - Hi! :smile1: I remember reading/seeing that your boyfriend (sorry if I'm mistaken) also has a Pandora, a leather one, no? I am on the verge of persuading mine to get the black one, (I've been nagging for a while for something matching since the friendship bracelets we did for each other many years ago are in desperate need of an upgrade (they've seen better days, to say the least!) We were originally going to get the Links of London friendship ones, but quickly went off that idea - these seem perfect! We'd be buying with the intent on wearing 1 significant charm, which if I'm not mistaken, is also how your bf wears his?
...I was wondering whether you had any photos, or could offer some input in to whether Pandora suits the male wrist?
TIA! :D

Wow really nice some of my favorite beads are on there! really nice! well done

Golden Touch I'm so glad that you now have a beautiful little girl!!! Congratulations!! I know that you will cherish every moment you have with her. Sounds like you have a great bracelet, I would love to see it!

If I were to do a bracelet for my daughter (who is much older) I would pick charms that are of meaning to her or both of us. She loves giraffes for some reason, the color purple, and she plays drums and other instruments in band. She loved the giraffe, the drum, and anything purple.

It would be more difficult to know what your daughter would like, but certainly the everlasting love or I love you would be a wonderful start.

Hello Queen of puds, Yes my boyfriend does have a mandora and he loves it! he started with just one bead an aquarius bead. the solid one not the dangle in the current catalouge but he soon got the bug and added a football the one with the black spots and A clip because he knows how paranoid I am about losing my own beads. the clip moves around but it stops them coming off the end.
It looks very nice on the male wrist and If I can get him to stand still long enuff when he gets home from work I'll take a picture.
He allways used to wear a leather bracelet u know the braided leather type with a lobster clasp and he saw pandoras leather ones when I was trying to convince him to buy me a pink leather one and decided he liked the Idea of the Mandora!

The ladies in the pandora shop love him because hes such a sweetie and buys me soooo many beads and they all notice his bracelet and think its great.
wears both his pandora and his braided leather together on the other hand to his watch.
I personally think it looks great! and he now understands the addiction and buys me more!

Hope that helps and I'll take a picture when I get a chance
Duckie :)
