Ladies, I had a mini Pandora scare last week. I went into my local Pandora shop to assist the Easter Bunny with his purchases. While picking up a piece dangle for my daughter's bracelet, I noticed that they now had the daisy safety chains in stock.
About 2 weeks ago, I had purchased 2 raindrop safety chains. One for me, as it was the one I wanted and one for my daughter as she wanted the daisy one but it was out of stock. OK here is where my mini scare comes into play (sorry for the long story). Since, I wanted to surprise my daughter with the daisy chain, I traded my raindrop for the daisy one.
It takes me forever to remove my bracelet and beads so I asked the SA to please do the trade for me. She said SURE. She had just finished working with a customer and DIDN'T put away all the old beads just pushed them to the corner of the tray. She removed my bracelet and quickly switched my chains and put my beads back on.
Fast forward to the next day, I had by this time gone back to the Pandora store a 2nd time to buy my stepdaughter 2 clips to also help the Easter Bunny! My daughter sees this bag soooooooo. I use this opportunity to show her my bracelet with the daisy safety chain and say oh please switch our safety chains (since now she has the raindrop and I have the daisy - has anyone fallen asleep yet?) We take a pic of my bracelet on my camera phone so that she can duplicate it easily!
As she is putting it bag together she shouts you are missing a clip!! Of course, I blame her LOL. Then we look at my pic on my phone - lo and behold no clip! Thankfully, she remembers that I had gone to the store to buy my stepdaughter's present (hehehe it was really when I got her present). So, I call the store and of course they don't pick up or call me back because they are swamped with all the people helping the Easter Bunny!
Sooooo, of we go to the shop, after a verrrrry long wait for the SA that helped me as they said only that specific lady could help me. She said why yes, I wondered why I had an extra clip! Now, I got a clip but I wanted to shout and rudely say - You have my name and number on file!!!! WHY oh WHY DIDN'T YOU CALL???? When you make a purchase you can designate who the bead belongs to. So that when I lost my original bracelet in January - 11 days after receiving it. My husband just walked in the store, gave my name and they pulled out all the beads that they had already sold me.
Does my rant make sense? She should have known that clip was mine!
At least I didn't have to repurchase it!
