Hi Everyone,

I heard of Pandora awhile ago (my mom and her friend owned a business creating jewelry, I think I saw ads in a few of the magazines they ordered). Anyways im new to tPF amd stumbled upon this thread and picture thread. I fell in love with all the bracelets!!! So now I'm interested in beginning my own collection. Does anyone have suggestions or tips as where to start??? Any good websites?? Things to watch out for??

MrsTGreen ... thanks for your reply about my gold purchases. Believe me, I am stunned I've managed to buy this much. I NEVER thought I'd be able to even touch any Pandora gold let alone buy any!!!
I am just saving slowly but surely and hope to add more pieces as and when ...

I envy you so much. Well done!!!!!! I have 5 boys if you need more gold. lol just kidding, I couldn't part with them, their father would ask questions :p

Hey welcome to the forum and prepare to become addicted! Many Americans like to buy from Denmarkbeads.com Elisailana.com and waterfalljewellers.com something like that! I'd watch out for all the immitation Pandora beads claiming to be authentic.

Addicted we are and the greatest enablers :yahoo:

I went to the most amazing Pandora shop yesterday! Well a shop-in-a-shop they had all the rings and all the bracelets and charms on the displays. I was looking at all the gold charms i wanted. They have all the gold and ruby ones still! i LOVE them. I thought i'd be good though and only bought the silver peace sign dangle its so cute! They also had the two new ones in the kangaroo and joey and the easter chick!

Ilvbeadsalot, in IRL it's even better. I have two and got them from pancharmbracelets.com. I love that they're open work. It's really a beautiful bead. You can't really see it but it's open space between the roses. They're also a good size. I'm sure you'll  it!

I also have two of these and love them ~ so pretty!! I'll post a pic of my bracelets tomorrow so you can see them and judge the size, etc.

I personally prefer the single leather bracelets. The double ones don't seem to fit right on me. Lots of people love them, but I don't. The single ones are cool and fun. I try to keep at most 5 beads or less. Hope this helps.

Thanks, LipGlossQueen .... I think I'll follow your advice and go for a single leather bracelet. Might have to have several!!! More beads will be required, too, of course! :yahoo: My friend bought her husband the large double in brown and she twisted it by having him hold one end in his palm with a finger and then threading the other end over and under the other a few times and then fastening it. It makes it smaller and it sits perfectly and looks really great and he loves it. I don't think you could do it with beads on but it's perfect for a man. I tagged along to a jewellery trade show recently with a friend because Pandora were exhibiting and it meant I got to see the new Spring beads ... gorgeous!! Anyway, one of the Pandora guys was wearing two single brown leather bracelets with a gold Pandora bracelet in the middle. They were a snug fit and they looked really cool! :girlwhack: He told me Pandora are bringing out sunglasses this summer and 28 watches at Christmas with different bezels that can be swapped around ... can't wait to see those!!
