Ladies, I know you will understand why I am so upset. I lost one of my 2 tone clips. The one with the little pink sapphire in the center with gold around it. I am soooooo upset :crybaby: I have no idea when it fell off either. It could be anywhere. I only hope somehow it turns up. I know I can just go to the store and buy another one. but I know as soon as I do that the lost one will turn up. Plus there are several other beads I'm saving up for. I am so bummed.

If you manage to find the old one, will your store let you exchange it for a different one? My local shop will let me do that if it is within 30 days. When I lost my bracelet, I sure kept hoping that somehow, someway I would find my old one once I got my new one. But wahhhhh, I didn't.

Hi Everyone,

I own a double, black leather pandora bracelet. I have been wanting to put my collection of heart charms on it. I picked out a different heart to represent each of my family members. I also wanted to secure the beads so they'd line up in 2 seperate rows. I tried and tried and tried to get rubber stopper beads on the the leather bracelet like someone on here did. Unfortunately, I just couldn't get those stoppers on over the end of the bracelet.

I then decided to do something..........and it's worked wonderfully. I simply took some black rubberbands intended for hair. I cut them and tied the rubber band where I wanted the bead to stay. I double knotted the rubber band and then trimmed the excess off. I then slide a regular old bead over the rubber band, even a threaded one, and voila! It stayed in place like a regular stopper bead. I've worn it several times and the beads are staying place and interestingly the beads sides stay on the top of my wrist. Over time, they may need to be replaced, but that's easy enough to do. Here are some pictures. BTW, the first picture is the rubber band before I trimmed off the excess:

That's a great idea ~ food for thought!! I'm sure I read somewhere that if you heat the rubber, in the stoppers, with a hairdryer, it makes the rubber soft and malleable enough to slide over the bracelet end without so much trouble. You'd probably have to wear gloves to handle the stopper though as the metal would get very hot. Your hearts look lovely ~ nice idea!!

Hi LipGlossQueen, I gave my friend that very same clip for a special birthday and it, too, came undone and was lost forever within a couple of months! She was so upset and told me just in case I noticed it wasn't there. I went and got her another one as I felt that I should so one very expensive birthday present!! I wasn't very impressed but thankfully the second one has stayed in place for nine months now and long may it continue.

Mrs T. Green -- those earrings make such a pretty set with the bracelet! I really like it! I have the Mix and Match earrings with the pearl drops in two colors (they are kind of in an open work frame) but I never thought about matching to a bracelet. I've made my own dangles and also took apart earrings so I could wear them on the Mix&Match.

Thanks:-) My hubby did good! I really like matching sets and I think earrings looks good with bracelet.

I did this and still had a really hard time...and I didn't have gloves. In fact I tore one of the rubber liners in half but then I just tucked in back into the stopper and it still worked.

And I agree the hearts look awesome! :smile1:

So sorry to hear this...it happened to one of my friends and she never found it. Our local shop only lets us exchange within 10 days as does another shop I refuse to go to (salespeople are so snotty).

LipGlossQueen,
I hope it turns up for you soon! If not re-purchase it but don't mention to them you lost it, say it's a possible gift for a friend. :ninja: If it turns up in a few days, return the charm following the stores time frame for returns or sell it. Someone will buy it!

I know what it feels like only I lost a Tiffany Atlas charm the same day I got it. I think it fell off in our garage when I opened the car door. The garage is super clean but I never found it. I was so bummed more so since it was V-day. Eventually my husband got me another. Still, wary of wearing that bracelet since most Tiffany charms open so easily!

MissMomToTwo, that is such a great idea. I adore your bracelet. I too didn't get that bracelet because of the "traveling charms." It'd drive me nuts. LOL Now I'm rethinking! :graucho:
