Hi Girls ...... My first post on here but some useful info from another Pandora addict!

I was lucky enough to tag along with a jeweller friend of mine to a trade show where Pandora were exhibiting and got to see the new Spring beads and they are fab! Love the new range! The Crown is stunning and quite large and sparkly ~ can't make up my mind how much I like it. There are some beads like the smaller version of the Ovals Lights but they are cabachons and the colours are beautiful so will be heading for those when they come out. There are quite a few soft pastel colours in the range and they're really pretty. The Pandora guy said the beads will be increasing by about £3.00 across the board in May/June .... I guess when the spring beads are released.

Eryn... I wear a clip on the very end of my bracelet with the safety chain on the other side so nothing can come off or move on to the very end of the bracelet. Apparently you only measure the length of the very smallest links to get the length, not the whole thing. I asked because I thought I'd been sold a 6cm instead of a 5cm.

For someone else, re: the necklace .... I wear the 42cm length and have the lovely Gold Band Garland on it. It sits just below my collar bone so it's on show no matter what I wear. I also have the Gold Band Garland as the centrepiece of one of my bracelets. Will post pics when I work out how to.

Loulougil ... I have the Ovals Lights Charms, bought from my local Pandora retailer some time ago. It's got two threads inside, one on either side of the holes for the gemstones and the writing is silver like the charm, not black like some of the others and it's a shiny silver. I now only buy from a seller on Ebay, definitely genuine. She's a top rated seller with no negs or neutrals and posts really fast.

You might want to compare it against an Oval Lights purchased from an authorized jeweler. The fact that it was sold at 25% doesn't bother me when you think what the huge mark-up there is between wholesale and retail. My concern might be that she is constantly able to replenish once a bead is sold. She is probably a retailer with a "bricks-and-mortar" establishment but one never knows. Buying online is a bit risky, but in 10 years, I've never been skunked if that makes you feel a little better!

Can you ever have too many beads......................

This was asked by my husband as last night I was stringing a new creation to wear today. Let's be honest, part of the joy is playing with bead combinations. :graucho: For me, I have a bracelet that is "done." I have the exact beads I want in the place I want. Then I have a collection of loose beads that I like to mix-n-match. I keep thinking that someday I'll be done with the beads. My interest will switch to something else. Yet with each new collection of beads released, I daydream of a collection I want. For example, I was thinking today how cute a bracelet with flowers, watering can, ladybug and butterflies would be for spring. Don't get me wrong. I do have some beads that just don't work for me and I need to sell. We should create a list somewhere for us to swap unwanted beads.

So tell me I'm not alone. Tell me that others find themself as interested in beads now as they were when they first started.

You are definitely not alone! :)

I have my set bracelets I can't imagine changing and loose beads as well 'cause it's fun to play!

Hey has anyone ever bought from this seller on ebay - b*jewell*d from Australia. I got the purple oval charm in post today from her and am not totally convinced it is authentic although she has 99.9% feedback with 2457 people leaving feedback. The reasons I am doubting it is firstly it does not go on the threaded part of bracelet very easily, it was getting stuck on me a few times. I looked inside it and cannot see any threads unlike all my other charms, but maybe this is because of the stones? Also it is a brighter silver than my other charms, but maybe this is because it is new and not worn like my others? Also it has 925 and ALE engraved in it but the letters are larger than my other charms and the writing is white as opposed to black on my others?
If anyone has this charm can they have a look at it and let me know what it is like? I cannot compare it to one in my local Pandora shop as they have none in stock at the minute. This is the first time buying of ebay so I am a bit wary since I got it for a good price. Its probably me just being paranoid because i have been reading articles on how to spot fake pandora and one thing that kept coming up was never to buy from an unauthorised retailer!

just checked mine and my 925 ALE is in white too and mines a genuine one - they seem a fraction bigger. Feel free to put a pic up and I will compare further x

Hi there everyone. I just found this site today and I love it. I am a huge Pandora fan. I was thrilled to see the pictures of the new beads. I love the gold open heart spacer. I wear my bracelet every day - I never take it off except to add a new bead. Hopefully I will be able to post a picture but there was a message that the picture was too KB - not sure what that means though!

HI and welcome! I am happy to know I am not the only one who wares their bracelet all the time. I only take it off when I shower. I am afraid it may get hurt by the soaps and stuff. Take a pic of your bracelet and post it.

Pink Cupcake, thanks! I still haven't settled this issue but that makes sense. It does measure 5 cm for just the smallest links. IMO it is still VERY long, and will fall right off my hand! :(

Has anyone had their safety chain shortened? I would think it can be done, I will need to call up my jeweler and ask the question. Just curious if anyone has done it, or knows it can be done? Thanks.

Ok girls I have added a new bead, the trunk. It is for my boyfriend and I moving in together. Here is a pic. The first one is to show my small collection of beads (hey a girl has to start someplace LOL ) The second pic shows how I ware it all the time.

And because no one ever shows the backside of the beads and I think they are too cute here is a pic of the backside. The trunk and the car have a little heart on the back and little red taillights on the car. The kitty has a tail. Too Cute!!

I have taken my bracelet off and taken a picture of it but when I try to add it to the post I am getting a message that the file is too big. I will try to see if there is someway to make the picture file smaller. I LOVE my bracelet - I got a couple of new charms for Christmas - the gold flowers with little diamonds in the middle and the fall release bead that has hearts and diamonds. I am so sad that there is a price increase but I still love Pandora!
