Pandora bracelets... continued!!!

Hi everyone!

I am new to this forum. I LOVE looking at all of your beautiful bracelets. I just got my first bracelet 2 weeks ago for my birthday. So far I have the dangle high heel shoe, the cat, the bird and the tea pot. They all have special meaning to me.
I do not have any clips yet and I was wonderng if I have to use them. Do most of you use them? I'm not sure I want to give up two charm spots for them. If I do get them I really like the silver double hearts with the diamonds in them.

I agree with iheartpandora, you don't have to use the clips but I prefer using them. They keep the beads balanced out nicely in the three sections. Also, if you don't have clips, it is possible for the charms to kind of get caught on the thread where the clips would go. The double heart clips with diamonds are beautiful! Question for all - right or left wrist??? I have always worn my Pandora on my right wrist (I am right-handed), but am a Recruiter so find myself taking a lot of notes during interviews and because of the beads, sometimes they cut into my wrist a little. Just switched my bracelet over to my left wrist and it feels a little weird. Would like to know what others do!

I agree with iheartpandora, you don't have to use the clips but I prefer using them. They keep the beads balanced out nicely in the three sections. Also, if you don't have clips, it is possible for the charms to kind of get caught on the thread where the clips would go. The double heart clips with diamonds are beautiful! I wholeheartedly agree dalmunchkin! I never used to bother with clips, but i have them on all my bracelets now cause it used to annoy me, always having to unscrew the beads off the threads. And when you start off a bracelet, it's good to have clips to keep your beads where you want them to be!

I'm probably the wrong person to answer this, cause in my case - both!! I am right handed, and i wear two or three bracelets on my right wrist, and one on my left, beside my watch. In my job, most of the work is done on the till or computer, so i dont need to write that much, but if they ever get in the way, a quick shake and it's fine.
I think thats another reason why i prefer larger bracelets, they can go further up my arm and not get in the way if i am writing. When i had my 19cm one, when it was full, it was snug, and i couldn't move it but now that i changed it for a 20cm, i dont have that problem.
So, iheartpandora, maybe wear your Pandora on your left while you work, and the right at other times. You'll soon get used to it being on your left wrist!

I am right handed and started with my bracelet on the right as well. Noticing that it felt like it was getting scratched up from the desk, or what not, I switched to my left too. It's easier to put on and feels quite comfortable there now.

I'm wondering what I'll do when I have a second one

Has anyone bought from ebay sellers johayden or jewelshows? Johnayden has some beautiful non-Pandora beads, and jewelshows has 9ct gold beads that would be a cheaper way of filling in with gold.

went and bought a spacer ( went for the bubble one) and a swirly sparkly one and a pink sparkly spacer which im in two minds with ( my store still has 25% off all pandora and they say its to continue for a wee while still ), just looking at my bracelet and its almost full and i still have loads of beads i want :wondering its kind of sad that i wont be able to get all the beads i want in it still have no muranos and i cant see me getting them on it.

I wear my bracelet on my right wrist and I'm left handed, which could be bad as well....I work on the computer alot for my job and use a right handed mouse...so it's still get in the way....but, seeing how adaptable I am...lol....I've learned to deal with it....

OK, I'm new to the Pandora world...which I love. I have two Trollbead bracelets now done and just start my first sterling bracelet (got from my DH)...with that said, I would like to buy a double leather bracelet and add a charm for a girlfriend birthday, but I wonder if the troll stoppers would work to hold charm in place? Has anyone test them yet? If not I know you can buy some type of black silcone stopper...any information on where I could find them??

See, thats the problem with Pandora, they have so many beads that it's nearly impossible to stop at one bracelet!!
I forgot your jeweller had 25% off, i found their phone number a wee while ago and i meant to phone to ask if they'd deliver, but then i forgot and figured it wouldn't be on for long anyway. Might just call tomorrow afterall!

I wear my bracelets on both wrists. Right now I have my 2 tone one on my left wrist with my watch. My single leather and Pandora/Chamilia mix bracelet are on my right wrist. Sometimes I switch them around depending on my watch and where I'm going.

I LOVE the rose spacers. I have 4 silver ones on my bracelet and I want to get the gold ones too now.

BeadBaby, your bracelet looks beautiful. I love the way the rose spacers add to your bracelet. I really need them now. Haha. I'll start with 2 silver ones and see where that takes me. I want it for my Pandora/Chamilia mix bracelet. I have 2 gold spacers on my 2 tone bracelet that I love. I was going to get the gold rose ones but felt these added more gold for less money. See pic below. I really love the GOLD presence they add to my bracelet.

^^ LipGlossQueen, there's a pic of my lariat on page 158 of this thread. I LOVE my lariat, it's the only one of my Pandora creations that i've never been tempted to change around. It took me a while to decide what i wanted, and i played around with beads in the shop (which will be easy for you to do! ), and came up with this. And i'm really happy with it!

Maria, your lariat look awesome. I am thinking I have enough glass beads to use so the beads I'm thinking of getting are the Forget Me Knot Bead and the Hopi Bead. These are two favorites of mine and I don't even own them. I recommend them to customers ALL the time. Now its time for me to get a few. I thinking when I go to work next week, I'll have to pick them up. Thanks for your input and enabling, LOL.

I wore mine today. I never wear it but when I do I just pull beads off the last section of the bracelets I am not wearing that day and set it up. I used to have "lariat beads only" but since I rarely wear the lariat the beads were under utilized so I worked them into my bracelets. I am much happier when all my beads are rotated!
I go for the beads that are the same all the way around like groovy or moon craters and I put about 7 beads on it. When I wear it I get tons of compliments. I did all silver and since the beads were freshly cleaned it looked fab. I tried taking a pic but it did not come out so hot, but I will take a better pic. I may try my wood beads on it too.
I do not seem to be getting alot of use out of my wood bracelet so I may need to give the wood beads a time out when the new Spring 2010 muranos hit. My Pandora shoppe told me the new muranos were going to be 35. US but I did not clarify if it was just the new ones or all the muranos as a result of the March 2010 increase.

I'm thinking the same way. Have beads just for the lariat. I have alot of glass beads that I don't use so I can rotate those depending on my color of the moment mood. I think I'm getting the Hopi Bead and the Forget Me Knot bead to use as fill for the lariat. Thanks for the input and enabling.

thanks Maria, i really want muranos, how many would you recommend?? i want 2 clips ( the silver swirly ones with the clear crystals) and im wanting the black MOP for valentines day then a couple of clear sparkly spacers!!
