You cant have him beadbaby, he's mine!! lol! Wowzers, i just hope his girlfriend appreciates it...if i ever received anything like that i'd go blind from the sheer wonderous beauty of it all!!

BTW, i have that gold bead, the lantern one, its definately one of my favourites :yes:

OMG Where about was that???? It certainly couldn't have been in my local store- lol.

To a millionaire I suppose $3000 is nothing- maybe he was rich?!

One Lucky girl is getting some bling this weekend- what colour oval lights were they? In my opinion a bracelet completely full of them is a little too much anyway. Though having said that there is a purple one shown in some of the Pandora advertising that looks lovely- but VERY expensive for just oval lights.

It was at Blue Spirit they have a 20% sale until tomorrow.
My guess, he looked like he worked in the mines (muscles, very tanned, and the clothing matched that line of work etc...) The mining industry is booming here in WA, but that's a guess.
There was about 5 or 6 different colours repeating themselves, they called a "rainbow" bracelet. It looked great.

My Pandora store has just called me - the two blue cz clips that i wanted have definately came in this morning, so thats where i'll be going later...! Yay! :graucho:

Yes- working in the mines does pull in good money- My hubby worked in the mines for a while before we got married. Good money but hard work and long hours- so glad he has a job now where he doesn't have to work those silly hours- plus him not being on the Tools anymore so to speak means a much cleaner less smelly man coming home at night.:smile1:

Any other tidbits of news about new Spring beads out there?

I was in a Pandora store (my first entirely Pandora store - kid, candy store, you get the picture) on Weds in NY. I have to say, I was disappointed at the lack of enthusiasm and knowledge about the product represented by the particular sales person. I asked about new beads, and she remembered seeing something of a memo laying around but "didn't really look closely at it." I'm thinking Really?? How can you not??

Anyway, all I was able to get out of her was a Buddha confirmation and a chick in an egg.

Anything else? CharmQueen?? :graucho:

Love the pic! Didn't think about the white polka dot muranos, but I love how they look!! I haven't dove into muranos yet, but thinking I might with the next bracelet. Hmmmm... Will have to do the layering thing too when I have a few to layer!:graucho:

i just had a question because all of you really seem to know what your talking about:

i personally like my bracelets tight, and i know the jeweler is going to insist that i get it bigger considering the charms will make it tighter than what it originally was BUT i have also read people talking about how the charms have stretched out their bracelets. is this something else i should factor into when determining size?

i'm doing a charm for every semester of college i complete, and since i just finished my first one it will be awhile before i have a good bit on there(this is also another motivator to do summer classes :p) and i don't know if i could bare an very over sized bracelet. my wrist is little over 5.5 inches how much bigger do people typically get there bracelets

Hi Kayla! I have super tiny wrists too (almost like a child's wrist, lol!), and I have a 6.7 inch bracelet.. which is now slightly tight being that it is completely filled. It's not uncomfortably tight though.. just snug. Hope this helps and welcome to Pandora!:smile1:

As one woman was serving me this guy came in on his own and to the other sale assistant he said "I'll buy that bracelet in the window please" It was a silver pandora bracelet with gold clasp and it was full of different coloured oval lights beads plus 2 gold clips.
The assistant pulled out a silver and gold clasp bracelet from underneath the counter and he said "No, I want that one with all the beads on it".
She looked shocked and said "That's $3407 minus 20%" He hadn't even asked the price.
He just nodded and said "Yeah, I'd like that one"

I was in awe and secretly wondering if he was actually going to buy it so I stayed and pretended to look at other beads.
Then he decided that the whole point of the bracelet was for his girlfriend to add beads she wanted and she couldn't do that because it was full so he asked the assistant to take off half the beads and he bought the bracelet half filled with oval lights beads, 2 gold clips and a $1000 gift voucher for her to choose her own beads.

and there I was spending ages debating if I should get the $261 or $303 gold bead minus 20% LOL I felt like a cheapskate

What a lovely gift... and where to I find a man like that!???
