A bit of sad Pandora news for you ladies:

I was in my Pandora store today and the manager (who shares all her inside info with me ;)) said she had just gotten off a conference call and they had informed her that prices will be going up (probably in march she said). She didn't have all price info but she gave me an example......basic silver beads that are normally $25 will be $35 after the increase!!! UGH! What does this mean?? Shop like mad for the next month to save some money.

No way, that's a pretty big increase. I wonder if it'll be the same over here in the UK. I'll try to find out tomorrow when i go Pandora shopping, so i'll let all the UK girls know.
Really though, they're pretty expensive as it is, when you think of the size of them - it's just a tiny little bit of silver or gold.

I have finally decided what i'm getting tomorrow...the purple enamel zen bead, the amethyst cz oval lights, two silver clips, a two-tone clip (probably the flower one), and maybe two pink cz spacers - just incase the prices do go up before i get to the store again (any excuse...!)
That's a bit more than i originally planned, but if the prices do go up here, really i'm saving money..:graucho:

^ Maria, I looove that purple zen bead!!! Have fun shopping tmrw! I bought like 5 beads the other day and picked up the lion today....he's sooo cute and it has symbolic significance to me in regards to my mom :love:. I'm def cut off for a few weeks! :p

It is gorgeous diva, i have it on my lariat, and i need it on a bracelet too, i've already tried it with my pink (soon to be pink & purple!) bracelet and it fits in nicely :yes: Have you seen the turquoise one as well, thats stunning too!

I have literally just made an online purchase...i am so very very excited...i thought i may never get my hands on this bead...Pandoraholic, i found the black heart murano from a UK seller :amazed: The second i saw it i bought it, i never had to think about it for a minute, i knew it was going to be mine! Maybe the hearts are moving out of the US now? IDK? So i should have that in a couple of days, yay! :woohoo:

Now i have a problem...tomorrows shopping was going to be for pink & purple bracelet stuff ( and a two tone clip for my two-tone bracelet)...but now i want to buy things for my black bracelet!!! HELP!:wacko:

^ I hear ya on that black bracelet....I want to start one but I'm simply DYING for the yin yang bead. I had the opportunity to buy it the other day but passed since it wouldn't look right one this bracelet....Once I start my next one then I'll buy it...Probably in a month or so!! lol

My two-tone was definately going to be my last. Then the black one, that was going to be it, no more, four bracelets is enough for any sane person...

...now i find myself looking at green beads and thinking "That would look nice on my next bracelet"! Will it ever end?!! :greengrin:

Well, I have to start one for me and then one for my daughter at the same time!! Should be fun (and wallet draining!). I'll start hers at the end of next month, it'll be her 1st birthday and I want to get one started for her. :tender: I really want to do the purple/green combo but realistically I think a black one would be better based on my handbags and clothes!! LOL

Seriously, thanks for the heads up. But I'm a little 'bummed' by this news.

I just got into Pandora a few months ago. My Step Mom said that the silver beads were introduced at $15 each.... now they're going to be $35 each. Can't imagine what the price of the gold beads will now run.

This may curb my enthusiasm. :tdown:

This group is bad for my pocketbook!

While I enjoy all things Pandora, I can't help but wonder.... is this group bad for my health?

When I found this group, I was sooooo happy to have found other's who spent their nights dreaming of beads. But you all are a BAD influence for me, each time you share photos of your lovely bracelets, I salivate!

All kidding aside, I really wish someone would have warned me about the 'addiction' factor.

Who knew such tiny little charms could hold such POWER :p

Sorry hon!! :push: Yeah, this is terrible news...I'm wondering what it'll do in the long run for their sales?? I wont TOUCH their all gold beads now! I'd have to sell a kidney! lol

This news is rough. I've been collecting very very slowly because I want a meaningful bracelet. It seems meaningful things are not happening often enough! Now there feels to be a little more sense of urgency, especially not yet knowing exactly when or how much mixed beads will go up.

So I tallied up the cost of a few "essential" charms to get in the next couple months and yikes!!

I just finished an adorable book: Handbags and Homocide by Dorothy Howell who writes in a style similar to Stephanie Plum books.

Have you read this book? It is sooooooo funny! Now, if she were only collecting Pandora/Troll too! (There are 2 other books in the series so far.)
