Laurie_lou...beautiful, i'm loving the colours on your blue/aqua one especially.

Well, i've had a day off work today, and i've spent most of the afternoon playing around with my two-tone bracelet, cleaned it, rearranged it, worshipped it! I was never too happy with the placement of the beads, and i had the yellow murano with orange spots, and the yellow flower enamel, and i just thought they were too yellow on it.
So, they came off, and now i have this...

I'm so much happier with it now :cutesy:

On a totally different note, how big are the holes in Pandora beads? I'm not wearing a bracelet today, but one of the jewelry sites I scan (http://www.jewelryunder100.com/) has a pearl dangle with a 4mm hole that I *think* will fit Pandora bracelets. You just pay shipping on this one. No, I'm not affiliated with them at all, and was just gonna buy a couple for gifts, then reread the description of the size of the hole and thought it may fit my bracelets. If so, what a cheap and pretty charm! They change 'deals' daily.

Ok, this is a really strange thing that has happened to me. In October at the U2 concert I lost a gold-diamond babbling brook clip. I went the next day, and purchased another one from the same jewelry store in Ft. Worth that I had purchased the originals from. I haven't worn the bracelet much, since I was worried that with pulling jackets on and off I would loose another clip. I was cleaning the bracelet, and while doing so, I put on glasses that are a stronger magnification, so I could really see the beads. It was then that I discovered that one of the clips is actually blue! Looked on line, that clip is $75. less. Now what do I do? I am considering going back to the jewelry store, and telling them the story and saying that I think a mistake has been made. That I bought and paid for diamond, but received something else. Any suggestions?

shinylizard, yup that will fit your Pandora, the chains are 4mm in diameter. Its very pretty :smile1:

golden's mom, OMG, how careless of the sales assistants  I think you should definately go back to the jewellers, explain what happened, and if they're not co-operative, suggest to them that they check their stock levels. If they keep an accurate stock checking system, they should be able to find out easily whether they're one diamond clip up, and one blue clip down (i think i got that the right way round...?), which would go a long way to proving you're correct.
Let us know how you get on. I would think they'd refund the $75, doubt they'd exchange it now. Good luck! :flowers:

If you are a valued customer, I would think that the store would make it right. Ask to speak with a manager or the store owner and not a clerk. Good luck.

When I was building my first bracelet my husband wanted to buy me two gold clips but I declined. I had heard that the clip mechanism gets loose with use and that gave me reason to be nervous. I decided that I would feel more comfortable buying gold charms since they can't fall off. Sorry to hear that it happened to you.

Well, an update with a happy ending. I went in today and told my story. The sales associate, who I've made several purchases by, said, "well, I guess now I know where the missing sapphire clip went." She changed them out, and then my daughter decided that she needed some of the earrings. So, we're all happy.

Brilliant news golden's mom :yahoo:I kinda thought they would've realised, going by their stock levels. Hopefully you'll have more luck keeping hold of this one now. Did you ever ask why the clip would have came off in the first place? My clips are fairly stiff, and i cant imagine that one would come off very easily...well, i'd hope not.

My first bead was the apple with the gold worm. My second was the now-retired fish!

Golden's mom~ I am so glad that the exchange worked out for you! I have the ruby babbling brook clip and would be really sad if anything happened to it. I treat it like a regular bead instead of a clip (I have the gold ribbed clips on my two-tone bracelet). I try to avoid opening it because it hurts my fingers when I close it. :blushing:

Update:
I am getting used to my safety chain now. My issue was that each end was not screwed on in the right direction at the same time...does that make sense? I fixed it and now I am not having an issue. I do think that I would rather have the gold safety chain... soon!!!

I remember you posting how you lost a clip , I and many other were distraught for you. I am glad the store was helpful. :)

Steph,
It was after this lost clip story I took the same approach as you I feel gold beads are the way to go. I also have BF who is anti- clip. I don't know how she deals but to each their own.

Maria,
My first charm was the four clover for my birthday 3-17.

heres a close up of my pretty - as its getting more new beads Im totally lost at how to organise it at the mo. The snake was added yesterday as Im off to Morocco in 2 weeks and my gramps bought me the princess crown too :yahoo:

My first charm was the pineapple. Now I am starting a second bracelet, so the fun never ends! My next one might be orange and yellow. Having such a hard time finding a good theme for it with the orange butterfly enamel I have. Might just take that out of the equation and start a green theme if I can find the grape dangle - LOVE it!
