Oooh, soooo excited...today, finally after around 6 or 7 weeks waiting, i received my gold angel from the US, she's breathtakingly beautiful :angel::love:
I shall bow down and worship her, after i've popped her in her rightful place on my bracelet! I'd given up all hope of ever seeing her, so i'm over the moon, YAY!:yahoo:

BTW sakthorp, i'm loving the bracelet you built online! I'll have to check that out, it looks a whole lot more realistic than any of the ones i've tried out before.

Wow, Maria..... you're becoming the queen of the gold charms:tup:

So, let's see how Miss Gold Angel looks on your bracelet. Upload a pic sometime soon?

Yeah, the new online bracelet builder is really slick. I just played around not really caring which beads I used but did notice that not all beads are 'supported'. I was just thinking that it's MUCH better than before because my major gripe was that you couldn't really get an idea of how a layout might work with various beads because the scale was so inaccurate.

Anyway, congrats on finally getting your gold angel FINALLY!!

Risingsun! how are you:) Your bracelet has always been one of my favorites!

As soon as I go see this new Pandora store...Ill report back. With the kiddos all out this week its madness to even think going to this mall. Not to mention its probably one of the most popular tourist attractions (other than Disney) in Orlando...its a great mall, but soooo horrendously crowded:(

I think Ill have to wait till AFTER the holidays. Im not a fan of crowds....although for a bead or two,Ill deal with it:graucho:
Thank you, lolas:smile1: Imagine, a whole store of nothing but Pandora! Quite tempting...

Steph, i completely blame this forum...i was never really a huge fan of gold (infact, all my jewellery is silver, i own no gold!) until you all suggested i do i gold/two-tone bracelet with my yellow!
Didn't take much persuasion tho...

And as you know, i'm not shy about uploading pics of my bracelets, so here it is, with beautiful Miss Gold Angel:D
I must say, i'm not thrilled with the placement of the beads yet, that was just quickly put together to take a pic (how come you get one bead and it can change your whole bracelet?!), and i don't really like the yellow enamel flower on it at all. Anyhoo...

:amazed::wtf:

Okay, speaking of Miss Gold Angel...i bought her thru eB*y, and because it took so long to receive her (not sellers fault i might add), i had filed a report to them. The seller couldn't provide tracking details, so i've just checked eB*y now...and they have refunded my money!!!!

Miss Gold Angel was free???!!!:faint: I'd feel bad if it had been the seller who refunded me, but seeing as it was eB*y themselves, i don't!
Is that bad of me, should i tell them?

I would guess the seller would get penalized if Paypal/ebay had to refund your money. If it was me, I would tell them. I have bought a lot on ebay, and sold a few things, and I would appreciate it if someone was honest about something like this. Just my 2 cents worth.

^^^ you're completely right dalmunchkin, thank you for telling me what i already knew :smile1:
My conscience will always win out in the end...that little (gold) angel on my shoulder is always right! I'm planning on contacting customer services in the morning to tell them what happened.

^^ It is, gorgeous! I've got the silver angel on another bracelet, and they're both lovely, but the gold is quite special.
Aww, thats lovely, dedicating your angel to your dogs. Dogs are another HUGE love of mine, i've got my black labrador lying at my feet as i type, my boy!

It seems there are a lot of animal lovers on this forum. We have a Dalmatian and are hoping to get another, but we want to get a rescue so we're waiting to (hopefully) get matched up with a dog in our area. My husband just bought me the gold "Seeing Spots" clips to symbolize Dalmatians!

Aww, how adorable! We've got a dalmation puppy living across the road from us, and it's quite possibly one of the cutest things i've ever seen, must only be 6 months old now. We've just got the one...not sure what bead would symbolize him. There's nothing really that would represent a whirling, hyperactive mass of black fur, lol!!

Paypal took the money from the seller's Paypal account.

Paypal requires that seller's send packages valued at over $250 US with tracking and Pay-pal REQUIRES A SIGNATURE for any package valued at over $250 US. So, since the seller did not follow Pay-pal's 'rules' then they lost the claim by default. Pay-pal simply reversed the funds from their account and credited YOUR account.

If Pay-pal later finds that you did indeed receive the package, they will deduct the funds from your account. Not likely, since it's not that large a claim.

If the seller was cooperative and helped you with the transaction problem, I would make it right. However it does not sound like they did since you filed a claim when clearly the seller should have refunded your purchase when they were unable to provide proof that the charm was sent.

Anyway, all is well that ends well, your Angel made it home. :D

Thanks Steph:smile1: I sent an email to eBay customer services this morning telling them that i received the charm, the same day as the refund was issued, and said that they should remove the money from my account.
I also sent the seller an email, explaining the same thing, even though she wasn't helpful at all with me!

My good deed for the day!
