Hear hear ladies!! If you start with beads you love, ones that mean something to you, you can worry about fitting it all together later, and even if you dont have a theme, at least you'll have a bracelet so uniquely you that means a great deal:smile1:

Thank you Lolas.
I was told Pandora opened a new store about three weeks ago. It is in the Florida Mall between JC Penney and the food court. I haven't been there but I'm planning on going tomorrow. I hope they have the entire collection

Hi Lolas nice to see you here after so much time- I like your bracelet as is- sometimes the muanos just don't work for some people/bracelets- though I do have them on both of mine and love them- I would sort of like one without- but we'll see.

I have made so many changes to my bracelets, mine all have a meaning but somehow i've managed to keep a theme and balance to my bracelets even though most mean something to me- I think the tweeking and selling some off and passing some on to my daughter help make them just right for me. I am NOT changing my Pink, 2 tone, Hearts and flowers bracelet for love nore money cause i'm in L:heart:ve with it! The purple one i'm in love with at the moment but can see some of the Silver beads being replaced with 2 tone and possibly the muranos being rotated with another colour theme from time to time. But hey that's the beauty of these bracelets you can make them look so different just by making some small changes :D

WHAT??WHAT?? A PANDORA STORE?? Ohhhh nooooo...so much for being done LOL

All kidding aside, I am done...to expensive to even consider another one.Although dh hinted that I should start another one since I have 3 girls. He has NO idea what a can of worms he just opened.

I gotta go check it out!

Thank you ladies:hugs:

Hi Pandoraholic!

I just had a little laugh...I told dh there was a new Pandora store at the mall, and his response was "I know". lol cats out of the bag...I guess I know what Im getting for Xmas lol

Thanks Izzy! I can fit two fingers (not stacked on top of each other, right?) between it but it is snug!
I think east TN is getting more snow but I do believe that would be a good choice bc it might head our way!

Maria, I haven't left yet but that is a great idea to try some full ones on! I will try to attach a pic of what I have so far!

I'm loving the start of your bracelet- GREAT start mind u didn't you say u just got it today???

Can't wait to see what else you add but don't feel u have to rush with it either- just enjoy it and if you have more patience than the rest of us then u'll be able to do it slowly:lolots: I didn't have much with my 2- it took 6 months to spend $5000 on 2 bracelets- woops!

Though I would LOVE to go into a Pandora store with an endless amount of money- say for a millionaire who didn't have to worry about cost at all (so no guilt involved) and create them the perfect Pandora Bracelet- gosh that would be fun.

Lolas can't wait to see whatever you may be getting. I have a feeling you'll be on this thread a little more often again if you start another?! I've not been on much apart from to read the thread but started my obsession again recently- I think it's Christmas and you start thinking what u'd like- I got beads for my lariat- not not not going to start a 3rd bracelet?!:graucho:

Thanks everyone! I appreciate all the advice you have given me. I was overwhelmed when I went to the store today but the sales assistant was so nice! She even exchanged my bracelet for me since we decided after trying on a full one I would be happier with a 7.9" one.
Maria, I agree, I ended up buying 6 beads and I love them all. I am going to work around what I love and not feel pressure to "design" anything.

Lolos, I agree completely. As I started picking out the ones I like, the sales associate said, you say you want to add color (murano) but you keep going back to these. I decided she was right, although I liked the "idea" of colored murano beads, I wasn't excited about them when they were added. I just chose some that I really loved and had been admiring.

Lorna, Those are the ones that mean so much. I have bought enough for me and now I am going to wait for really special ones that really have more meaning to me. I have a couple in mind to "hint" for, not this year, but for special occasions next year.
:ty: EVERYONE! I will post a pic tomorrow when I have light of the beads I bought today.

Does anyone here have a bracelet that is COMPLETELY made up of the glass beads? Trying to imagine if it would look nice, or just silly. Maybe a full bracelet of the same glass bead with an odd silver one in there?

Opinions please!

Who knew you could spend HOURS organizing the beads on a bracelet? I've completed my silver w/red bracelet. I wear red often so this should be great as an everyday bracelet. I'm also working on a two tone but Santa needs to bring me more beads before I can figure out what I'm doing with that one.

Fun stuff, these bracelets.

BTW, I found a foaming spray on cleaner that works wonders. I had it in the cupboard and use it on antique sewing machines, you know, the old black machines with gold decals? Well, collectors need to be careful not to disturb the gold decals on these antique machines, and years ago a fellow collector told me about this foaming cleaner called Tuff Stuff. I used in on an antique silver bracelet I have and it shined it up beautifully! So..... if you have a can of this inexpensive cleaner in your cupboard, give it a whirl, I think you'll be impressed.

Pandoraholic...I need to brush up on my Pandora news:) Im looking at the most recent beads, and I gotta say it wouldnt be hard to start again. This time I will let dh FUND it completely!! Even if it takes me forever lol.

I loved making my other ones...but I was obsessed. It seems that I did them in a very short time even with all the tweaking! So time consuming...I cant handle the stress again:nuts:
