Maria,
I know! It scared me when I saw how fast they started adding up! I don't know or haven't heard of those stores here in Nashville but I am going to google it to see if there might be some around. It would be great to be able to play with the beads IRL to see how they really look on the bracelet. I love yours!

Hi Ladies!

I've a question... I've my Pandora SS bracelet for a year now and I've noticed that it have stretched a little. Is this normal?

And also... it has become looser, it has no longer that solid circular shape. Is that making sense? Have this happened to someone?

Thank U ladies*

Fully filled Pandora bracelet = cost of a RM MAB ! It is a little scary Deb but I'm glad you've crossed into this new obsession too! I found Pandora back in 2001 or so -- luckily for my wallet, the RM handbag obsession only started this year!

You might want to do a search on the previous Pandora thread (go to page 1 of this thread and I think there is a link) as it has happened to a couple of girls and at least one discussed how her jeweler was able to "fix" the bracelet by cutting out some of the extra.

Hmmm, nearly bought the gold w/diamond handbag bead tonight:sweatdrop: Even though there's a UK site where i can get 25% off, i'm still not sure - its a lot of money to spend on a tiny piece of gold! However, the discount code lasts until tomorrow, so i'll go check it out IRL then decide how much i need it!
I reckon i'll get a gold bead with the discount, but i'm not sure if it'll be one that expensive!

Laurie_lou thanks :) Hope that's really nothing to worry about!

Izzy's Mom thanks for the tip! :) I'll take a look on the thread! I've actually already think of cutting of the extra bracelet... but I'm just too affraid that it won't look perfect =/
I'll read the previous thread and see what was said about it! Thanks :)

I try not be an enabler, but that discount is too great NOT to take advantage of. Let us know if you get anything!!!!

I agree...... 25% off is pretty sweet!

I don't believe that those kind of discounts can be had here in the US. Authorized dealers are not allowed to discount. The best I have been able to find locally is a dealer who gives a 5% 'store credit'. Big deal :p

At any rate, you don't want buyer's remorse. Those little charms seem overpriced for the gram weight. But they're soooooo cute!!!

Not a dumb question at all..... Kendalldew is an eBay seller who mysteriously shows up with Buy It Now style auctions. Apparently you need to be alert as she lists beads and WHAM, they're gone!
SAKTHORP - thank you so much for replying so quickly.

I just ordered my first bracelet and am awaiting its arrival in the mail! Bought the necklace and a bracelet and a dozen or so charms! i see an addiction soon to rival that of my Tiffanys or purses coming on! lord help me!

I am looking through a Pandora catalogue I just picked up in anticipation of getting my first bracelet (darn the mail! why cant it be faster?) and was hoping someone could explain to me.

what are the difference between spacers and clips? are they necessary?

The spacers are not necessary but can break up the pattern of larger beads and make it look pretty. The spacers are thin beads that don't actually have a thread inside them. Therefore they just slide onto your bracelet without having to be screwed on.

The clips are necessary in mine and Pandoras opinion. U need 2 on a bracelet they are cliped onto the 2 little thread sections on the bracelet. I have been told they help prevent stretching- but i'm thinking that this is probably only because they allow u to keep your beads in each section. Balancing out the weight on a bracelet. They also stop your beads from getting stuck on the 2 inner threads- which is good cause this is very annoying.

givemegold, sakthorp...you are bad bad ladies!!! :p
But i like yous! :flowers:

I read your posts this morning, and thought "they're right, 25% is the best discount i'll ever get", so straight away i logged onto the website (unforgettablemoments if anyone's interested!), put the gorgeous gold handbag into my shopping cart...and i've yet to checkout cause i still want to be sure!! I'll go see it IRL today, then decide.
It is such a good discount tho...in the UK the gold bag is £315 (sorry dont know the conversion to $), and i could get it for £236.
And in my warped way of reasoning, i reckon that if i ever dont want it or get bored of it or whatever, i could sell it on eB*y and get back what i paid for it, at least.
So really, it'd be silly not to, it's a money-making investment. Right?? LOL!:graucho:

I have til the end of today before the discount code expires...so Pandora store, here i come!

so once a bracelet is full then the purpose of the clips are unimportant? because if you were to buy one full they wouldn't move around anyways?

Sorry if my questions are silly. I feel like the dumb kid in the back of the classroom!

Hi, once your bracelet is full the clips still serve a purpose b/c they prevent the beads from getting caught on the threads. They also help to balance out the bracelet, in my opinion.
