Next month my husband and I are off on a 'Harley Davidson' ralley to Wellington by bike of course, I'd love to get a bead to remind me of the trip, but apart from the 'journey' bead I can't think of anything (there's no motorbike charms as such...)
I would welcome any ideas?

Your holiday sounds great! What fun. :)
I did a quick google and looked for motorbike bead and a few came up. If you wanted to stick with straight Pandora and not mix brands, that might be trickier. How about the little suitcase?

I'll go through the catalogue and have a think. Good luck deciding. :)

I am actually a little upset with Pandora right now - I sent an email to their customer service asking how to obtain the boxes that are provided in the store and they provided ZERO help and basically told me that whatever I got in the store that I bought the bracelet from (Jared) was what I should be happy with!

WOW:wtf:

Sorry that Pandora customer service wasn't of any help to you. Here is a bit of info about Pandora gift boxes that Pandora offers to their retailers.

Stores must purchase the hard white gift boxes with pink trim that are available in different sizes. They are not given to stores free of charge. It is up to the store to order gift boxes. Pandora boxes and other packaging like shopping bags are part of a co-op program where stores will get partially reimbursed for packaging purchased every few months with credit towards future orders.

Although the boxes are pretty reasonably priced, stores must pay shipping on the boxes. Shipping is very expensive on the boxes because of their weight. I was shocked to see shipping costs of the boxes for ground delivery from Maryland to California which brought up the price of boxes substantially.

Pandora offers guidelines as to which box to use for the type of purchase, keeping prices of the boxes in mind. It is ultimately up to each store if they want use Pandora gift boxes or put purchases in a folded type box/pouch (which are also purchased by retailers), or use their own boxes.

Many stores may choose not to participate in the packaging program due to various reasons.

Hope this gives you some perspective about Pandora boxes and why some retailers may not offer them.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY 'JUST DAISY' and thanks for your input, the trips we have done on the motorbike have been fabulous and even more so have been the wonderful friends we have made along the way. :smile1: I haven't really thought of looking for charms outside Pandora so far but certainly food for thought...

I can fit a few more...Im still waiting for my replacement gold/topaz/Aquamarine & I want a gold clip:yes:. That will be it on this one...like I said earlier I like a bit of movement, and I like pushing them around a bit .

Its insane that Ive gotten more attached to this bracelet than any of my other bracelet. It has turned into a staple....I wear it everyday:)

Yeay for you Niseix!!! its a long slippery road up ahead;) I put mine together in less than 3wks, I was shopping like a MANIAC:sweatdrop:.....and I had sworn when I started that Id take my time & purchase on **special** occasions:roflmfao:

Too funny! I'm so excited...I can't stop staring at it! Even though I just started...I have a feeling I'll be heading the same road as you. I'll try my best to keep it as slow as possible...(for the sake of my wallet). I already hinted to my bf the lock & key for valentine's day. :yahoo::heart:

I know what you are talking about. I filled my bracelet but decided to take some off. I like to so much better. It really looks full but, it is not so stiff. The beads can move around a little.Sooooooooooooooooo, I started another one. I am so bad!:woohoo:

I am working on mine now and mine is definitely stiff because it's so full! I need a safety chain to get it back to being flexible;). Plus this gives me a reason to start filling my new bracelet which was originally reserved for beads from friends or gifts only...If I keep buying for my first one and the beads on my second was the spillover from my first...

Yup, I know...I'm trying to justify it!!:p What can I say...It's an addiction!:graucho: And we all have it!!!:yahoo:
