I'd like a catalogue too! Do you have to ask the jeweller? The jeweller in the shopping center I frequent is a silver store.. they have only got one display case and a lot of out of stocks from Christmas they tell me. It is hard to get a good look at the display because people are all over it. :)
Can you email someone and ask for one to be sent out?

I have had a successful day on working towards losing more weight so I can have my new bracelet... but of course I am frantic something will be discontinued before I get the weight off. Arrgh. I did console myself with putting them all in Gillette's wish list. I am so looking forward to the new thin me and the new bracelet. :)

Thanks

HI to the newbie collectors and welcome!!
If you go to the official Pandora website in your region, and join up (free) it has a bracelet builder - where you can save your builds, also you can make wish lists - and send them to people!!...lol
and also keep a record of your beads on there.
As for color choices - I thought the best thing was that I would be able to switch beads around and make new bracelet combinations all the time - yeah right, once I get it "perfect" I don't want to change it - which is why I am on no 5

Those asking about the watch bead, I just went to the classique website and it has a shop locator on there - so you can find who stocks them in your area, my local jeweller is in Vic/ Prahran.
It looks like it may be an Aussie brand (I don't know much about watches) so it might be a bit harder to get overseas.

On a "funny" note, a guy at work was asking me about my beads today, he asked how much each bead was and I said "around 30" and he said "cents?" I gave him a dirty look, and told him, no dollars, then he was open mouthed, he said he thought a whole bracelet might be around $100. So I enlightened him .... I'm guessing he doesn't buy his wife a whole lot of jewellery :confused1:

Weekends are dangerous... while watching the inaugural specials (and feeling proud and happy) I found Lolas' gold spacers on ebay (thank you, dear girl) - bought two - and then found two bronze lights beads (round, not oval) also at a good price. SO I will have my new retired bronze sunflower bead soon (thank you, dearest bekstar) to put on my pearl leather necklace, with bronze lights and champagne lights on either side. Taking the champagne lights off my bracelet will make room for the new gold spacers!

As I do all this rearranging, in the back of my mind is the thought that a second bracelet is inevitable... but I'm trying to hold off. Must sell some stuff on ebay or craigslist to justify!

Yeah good for you Sunny:) Cant wait to take a looky:yahoo:

Daisy what a great way to motivate, and reward yourself!

I think that after my lil'shopping binge in these past 2-3 days my bracelet will be complete..I picked up about 7 ss/gold beads..I think...dear G, I hope it wasnt more:shame: Couldnt resist, a good deal IS a good deal.

Im going to have to do some serious closet cleaning to make up for it LOL

Back to chanting....
***IM BROKE,IM BROKE,IM BROKE***

can anyone tell me of their experiences with gold or silver plated charms?

or just gold plated jewellry in general. im not too familiar with it.

im looking at ebay and there are sooo many sellers selling almost exact replicas of pandora charms but they are GOLD PL or 18ct GOLD PL. does the gold rub off after longtime wear?

Hi My Delirium,

I've not purchased any gold or silver plated charms, but my I do know that the finish tends to wear off of plated jewelry. "Filled" or "bonded" will wear better than plated, but will probably dull over time.

For my bracelet, I have a complete mix of brand names of beads. I know some folks prefer to stick to one brand name, but I've had a blast mixing and matching. In my opinion, one of the bast off-brand names is Nagara. They are sterling silver, have nice detail, and wear well. My children are from Taiwan and China and they have the best selection of Asian themed beads and that's initially why I ordered them. I was so happy with these beads:

that I plan to order more. You can find some on Ebay. I like shopping directly at:

www.silvershake.com

I also did some fun shopping this weekend and added to my bracelet, which is a mix of shiny sterling silver, oxidized sterling silver, and gold. Here's my absolute "mutt" of a bracelet with Troll, Pandora, Biagi, Nagara and non-european gold beads.

Hi Sunny,

I know, I'd love to do one Asian themed for Spring Festival/Chinese New Year. Some of these are definitely more Japanese than Chinese/Taiwanese, but I still love them:

:

I live in the UK and emailed Classique to ask if they had UK stockists. They confirmed that they do not have UK stockists at the moment but were happy to sell it to me direct:yahoo: Just need to save for it now!

That's good news about the watch - just need to decide on white/ pink or blue face now!

Hopefully I pick up my gold bead today - I wasn't home when the mail came yesterday, and because it needs a signature, I have to go to the post office today, can't wait.
