quick question for you all- I noticed in the back of the new catalog (with the bracelet on the front) that it mentions something about stretching of the bracelet not being a manufacturing defect.... has anyone had their bracelet stretch?? I haven't experienced this yet buy I'm hoping mine won't since I bought them pretty loose as it is! If you have one that stretched-- how much longer did it get?? It doesn't seem like they could stretch much??

Mine did stretch. I got a 18 cm as I thought I could fit more beads (should of got the 17cm as my wrists are smaller than my 6 year old step daughter). When it was full it stretched to about 20 - 21 cm. It got real annoying as it would sit under the ball of my hand and I scratched many things with it.

My local jeweller shortened it for $25.00. They take it of each end so that your clips are still centred. I do wear mine all the time but I found out that the could be shortened by a girlfriend who takes hers off to shower, clean the house, bed etc and she had to have hers done.

Once it was shorter I had extra beads for my necklace - felt like I had been shopping. :yahoo:

I also have the 14ct clasp. As the gold is softer than the silver it has worn the whole to large and it would come out. I had the end of the snake chain built up with extra silver so that the clasp still works. You can't even tell it has been done. A new clasp is over $300.00 and the repair only cost $10.00.

I was not worried about this as something that is worn all the time will wear. That reminds me must get diamond ring settings checked next time at the jeweller.

Some one asked if the beads scratch. They do but I don't mind that. I think it gives them a loved look. I am very hard on my jewellery and I do think that my Pandora has held up well considering.

images.gilletts.com.au/images/imagesc/q1686c.jpg I bought this pearl dangle for a girl friend of mine yesterday who always gives me good advice (She is a treasure like a pearl and her children are born in June but I prefered this to the birthstone charm). She has a lovely oxidized bracelet in the making and it was dangle free.

BBQ!!!! KC style. Lots of hot sauce! Ribs, pulled pork, slaw! I'm hungry now just thinking about it. You should get a pig or cow for your bracelet as a momento!

MMMM meeee too! LOL! OMG in Hawaii they had something called "Kahula Pork". It was SO GOOD! They need to have it on every menu in the US! It was especially amazing on nachos!!!

Sweet dreams

We know it's not 'technically' unfair, and we understand that people sell on ebay to make a profit:rolleyes:... it's just a bummer to have one person snatch up all of your favorite sellers items the second they get listed, when theyre only purchasing to resell for profit. I get what you're saying, but we're still allowed to be mad about it, since people like that make it harder for us to score deals. Buying out someone's inventory to resell at a mark up is not the same as reselling a few personal beads and making a profit IMO. I just think it's uncool and personally won't be buying from that reseller for that reason.

The problem with the 'favorite sellers' list is that there are only options to be contacted weekly or monthly when they list new items. Getting a once weekly email doesnt help when the sellers items get snatched up the minute they're listed. Some people here are checking this sellers ebay page multiple times a day for new listings, so you can see why we don't like it.
Totally agree, its made me so mad, As if its so easy to get them in the first place , And then someone buys to sell , give us a break

ITA. Further, I still don't really think it is fair. For example, think of a show like American Idol. What would happen if several computer programs ran to vote for contestants? If this were not blocked by the show, it would be pointless to even have the show because the results would be far from accurate. The same theory applies to ebay. If computerized programs are not allowed in contests, they shouldn't be allowed on ebay, either. It defeats the entire purpose of having an auction site. It eliminates competition which, in theory, will slowly run ebay into the ground. No competition = poor business. I understand that it IS a business and people are just looking to sell, but in that case, just create a regular shopping website. The point of ebay is to have several people determine the value of an item. People will soon turn towards sites such as bonanzle since it is cheaper and better run.
