I found that the seller had another synthetic opal bead up with a "buy it now" price of 69.00 (plus the 18.00 shipping). Sadly, that' just not in my price range. I mean if I'm going to put nearly 100.00 in a bead, I'd feel more comfortable getting a brand name and seeing it in person. It's a shame though because I do really like this bead. Maybe if I keep my eye on the seller, it'll go down in price over time. One can hope.

Well, I have been looking at the Pandora thread because I saw the bracelets awhile back in a magazine and loved them...I think I've been bitten! Great info...Also, off topic, BUT how do you copy/paste these cuties into email? It doesn't work for me...freezes the image...Oh, wise and accomplished techie!
Right click with your mouse, select "copy" and then "paste." Or you select "save" and place them on your desktop for repeated use. Hope this works!

Ladies, my favorite jewelry store has some beautiful inlay opal beads that fit pandora at their store. I am headed there this weekend, and if they let me, I will take a picture. They are so pretty! I don't have one (mostly because it doesn't match any of my bracelets), but if I ever make it to a turquoise-y bracelet, these will be on my list. They are a bit pricey, I think they are $90, but the genuine gemstone and hand-made-ness of them makes them worth it.

I have spent too much on purses and now I need emergency surgery on my wisdom teeth.. so I am pretty much being forced to part with some of my retired collection.. I'm sad :crybaby: Sometimes I wonder why I pay so much in health insurance just to have insane copays! Ugh!!!! Sorry, had to vent!!

We all complain about the cost of health care and the cost of dentistry is over the top. So sorry that you have to part with some of your collection; in time you'll be able to replace them. It's a bummer for sure but a good move. :noworry:

Make sure the dentist gives you happy pills as you will need something to take the edge off during the first 24-48 hours after surgery! Too bad there is not a Pandora tooth fairy bead we could find for you!

I have 2 Pandora bracelets and absolutely love them. Actually, I'm about to get a 3rd bracelet because my favorite store is having a buy one get one half off sale till June 6th. I just got an e-mail from them last night. I'm SO excited. :)

Today was a glorious Pandora mail day for me. I got my two beads from kendalldew. The world health bead is just gorgeous. I had never seen it in person and the pictures don't capture its beauty. I also got the ss/gold lock and key, but I might put that one away for my daughter.
My other package was from a lovely forum member who tracked down the retired Bear face for me and sent it from overseas. He is just adorable and is waiting for his spot next to the other retired animals on my bracelet
