A whole "store within a store" thing. You would never guess from the outside. Picked up a lime green butterfly and she told me about the grapes promo for June and they are having a free bracelet promo in September. No retired beads and they were SELLING the catalog for $2.00.
Next: Shuler's in Norristown. Not a nice store and a very snooty sales clerk. Stood to the side dangling the case keys, kept asking if I wanted to look at the catalog. Now, why would I when I can look at the actual beads. She wasn't going to let me touch them, mind, but whatever. There were signs all over the store for "consolidation sale, nothing held back" but of course Pandora WAS held back.
Next: Whitemarsh Jewelers in Conshohocken. Nice store, clueless sales associates. I was asking about retired beads and they thought I meant a bead that said congrats on your retirement, etc. I had to point out to them a couple retireds in their case and showed them my retired bracelet. No purchases there.
then I find out that an order placed for me by a lovely forum member will not be sent because the beads are OOS. Still looking for Bear face and mushroom. Anyone seen these for reasonable amounts??

Waterfall Jewelers has them both for $50 each on their website! That's the cheapest I have seen them in awhile

cyndiinphilly - the bear face and mushroom (along with a bunch of other 'retireds' are also available on ebay from an Australian seller called Lovelylush. She has 2 of the bears and 4 of the mushrooms - both priced at $49.99 BIN but she is also taking Best Offers on the bears.

The item numbers are: 280338907908 & 270378269443

any Philly/South Jersey folks, just talked to Nick at Anthony Jeweler's in Palmyra and they will definitely be getting the grapes charms in and they will hold them for you if you call. This is my absolute favorite Pandora store because they have the beads all on an open stand in aisle and you can fondle all you like. Best Customer service, wrap everything. They helped my hubby out with mother's day, etc. Just all around great store (no affiliation, of course)

I love when they have them out to "play" with. It annoys me to no end when they have them in a case and they watch your every move as you look at the beads as if you are going to steal them. I mean, cmon, I shop there at least once a week and they still watch me like I just got out of jail!!

I completely understand about how much more fun the stores are when you can play with the beads at your leisure! One of my favorite jewelers used to do this, but now they make me point while they guess. I have decided to not drive out of my way to that store, so instead I go to a store where all you have to do is ask to see the CZ tray, or the spacer tray...
