well ladies, I had a scare this morning with my pandora!! as you can imagine, very scary experiance. I went to put my bracelet on, and it kept coming undone:wtf: (I have the bead clasp). on closer inspection, the lock was faulty. I could have passed out, I have only worn my braclet a handful of times, as I dont want it to get wrecked at work, and it was broken already! Has anyone else had problems with this lock, the lock would snap, and then work its way open so there was a big gap between either side.

I took it back from where I got it, and they were great, gave me an exchange, no questions asked!:yahoo:they did say that It was unlikely to have come fully undone, and it was the first time that they had seen it.

I know I am being a bit overdramatic, but I am sure you all understand how heartbreaking it is when you think something you love isnt working properly. thank you for letting me rant, hopefully I wont have this problem again, but I would love to hear from you all with regards this.

Your best investment would be the safety chain that Pandora makes. I highly recommend this for everyone who has a bead clasp bracelets. It is well worth it to protect your bracelet so you'll wear it without worrying about the clasp coming undone.

I've heard alot of similar stories about losing bracelets and the first thing my customers buy when replacing a bracelet is the safety chain.

I'm glad your bracelet was replaced! When purchasing Pandora products from an authorized retailer, they will usually take back a defective Pandora product.

In this case there are advantages to purchasing Pandora products from authorized retailers since they will stand behind their products.

Pandora does not allow authorized retailers to sell Pandora on Ebay. I doubt if an Ebay seller would offer the same guarantee.

Sometimes the clasp does loosen over time - the mechanism inside the clasp can bend causing the clasp to open. When closing your bead clasp, make sure you hear the "snap".

Wow, there are some differences between the US and Europe. Pandora is pretty strikt here, too, but retailers are allowed to sell on eBay. I heard the same about Trollbeads.

Pandora is great with returns over here, too. The retailer can send the faulty item to Denmark and than gets it repaired, replaced or a credit.

I got a Pandora Bracelet for Christmas and have since being filling it. I love it loads!!! It is quite expensive here in the UK, but still worth it. Does anyone from the UK have tips about buying from intrenational sites - that will post to the UK?

charmqueen, I was wondering if you have any new info on when the newer fall beads may be out?

I spoke to my Pandora rep yesterday regarding delivery of new beads. Pandora has not set a definite date for shipping fall beads. Last year fall beads were shipped around mid-September for Pandora gold dealers. So I'm hoping it will be about the same time this year. Retailers that are silver or white dealers usually receive their shipments after gold dealers so it could be later for them. Websites selling Pandora are gold dealers.

If I hear more, I'll post the information.

Well I've had a very successful day. A Pandora charm I ordered last week came in and I am now the proud owner of a " Pandora Sterling Primrose Path Bead with Clear Cubic Zirconia", is that a mouthful or what. :yahoo:

To add to my spending spree, I noticed while I was waiting to pay that the sales assistant had a similar Pandora in orange charm on a leather necklace. Turns out it was a Thomas Sabo one, it was much longer than the Pandora ones and was actually leather not the silky material like the Pandora ones. So I was in like Flynn and bought myself one.

While I was over at the cabinet checking out the cute Thomas Sabo designs that the assistant let me know that they make an adaptor so you can wear the Sabo charms on a Pandora bracelet. So next week I am going to get myself one of those adaptors and maybe a little Sabo charm to go on my Pandora bracelet. Also I thought the adaptor might work with some other charms I have.

Anyway thought I'd mention it not only because I wanted to celebrate getting a new charm but because I thought the whole Thomas Sabo strap and adaptor thing might be of interest to people here.

Hi all, I just got my first Pandora the other day for my birthday and I love it! Its silver with the Pandora bead clasp can’t wait to fill it up. So far I have two silver Pandora beads and two glass beads that I don’t think are Pandora but that’s fine because they are adorable. :smile1:

My Dad just bought me a silver pandora bracelet with silver bead clasp. He also bought me the little angel, which is so cute.
I have ordered the musical note, and aries beads... will be arriving in the next couple of days.
So excited to wear it out
