Any of the moms out there expecting/hoping for Pandora for Mother's Day? I sent my hubby a wishlist from the Pandora site, so we shall see.

My sons took me to the Pandora store on Monday night. I filled up a sixteen charm tray with all the beads I have on my wish list. Then they sent me out of the store so they could make their purchases. It was fun! The sales associate was wonderfully patient. Let's face it, anything they did not buy, she had to return to their display. I have no idea what I am getting for Mother's Day, but I know I am going to love it!:yahoo::heart::love:

GREAT idea! For my birthday and mothers day I took them to the store and pointed out the ones I loved (there was quite a few) and i'm just hoping that they were looking at the same ones as me. I think next time I might try that to be on the safe side. Only problem is now there's one i'm really would like and so i'm really hoping for it, oh well i'm sure that i won't be disappointed.

The nice thing was it was their idea. I would have just sent them off to buy whatever they wanted.
You could always put more than one of the "one" you really want in the tray. They will probably get the hint.:graucho:

Hello ladies! My local jewellers held an event last night to celebrate opening their new Pandora "store within a store" and for every £50 spent they gave a £10 gift voucher, so what better time to start bracelet number two!! I also finally managed to bag the dog and two muranos - turquoise spot and an aquay coloured stripe - here I go again!! I also bought my mum the owl and she bought herself the faith, hope and charity so her bracelet has now been officially started - I got her hooked! The store was absolutely heaving with around 3 customers per sales assistant, and there were about 12 assistants!! I now have £30 in vouchers, oh what to buy next!! I shall take some shots tonight and do my best to upload onto our spanking new thread!

Lola that's GREAT! So what are you going to choose to get with your vouchers??? Was there lots of bracelet comparing in the Jewellers?

Have u decided if u are going to wear both bracelets together, on seperate wrists or one at a time????

I think I'm hoping for the amethest love knott then i'll add that as the central bead on my silver bracelet and add some purple oval lights and possibly purple muranos to- have it all planned out in my mind- maybe i should hop on a bracelet builder to see what it should look like.

Changed Beads
Does anyone know which authentic beads have changed.:confused1:
I know I would like to know and I am sure Miss Kris also.
Reading the forum I have found

Perfume Bottle - PAN to O
Green Enamel - Lime Green to Apple Green
Penguin - Spots on head to no spots

any more? :weird:
I bought a penquin at the pandora shop with no spots. I thought it was a flaw, but I prefered it to the other.

Hi Ladies - gosh there is so much going on here at the moment it is difficult to keep up! And the new picture thread is wonderful.

Forgive me for posting this request again but please can anyone help with the following query that I posted yesterday.

I've just been given a gold charm as a present and it was bought on Ebay. I can't find an ALE 585 mark on it anywhere. Are all charms stamped? This one is the 'Feeling Groovy' bead, # 75421. Does anyone else have one of these in either silver or gold and, if so, does yours have the relevant marks and where?

Thanks for any help with this!

I don't personally have this bead, but sometimes beads that don't have alot of detail won't have the ALE 585 markings. Other times, they may be blended into the design and not noticeable. I have found this to be the case with retired beads more often than current beads, but I am sure it's possible

LOL My hint was a little less hidden. I said and I really really love this one like a few times- so hopefully either hubby or mther in law took the hint.

Maybe Kendalldew will post some "Mother's Day beads" sometime this weekend!! :graucho: Since I don't have any "human" children, I may have to buy them for myself from the kitty and puppy! LOL
That means two new beads for you from the furry children! I will have to tell Izzy she needs to do some online shopping rather than just walk across the keyboard....

Well, when I talked to paypal they told me that the reason they want the letter from the jeweler is because they are looking to permantly suspend Jewels2005... so hopefully I can find a jeweler to write a letter... I know many don't like bringing their business into it.. even though they'd be doing so much good for the ebay community!
Any luck finding a jeweler to do this for you? I found out that my package is now with the local post office in the Netherlands which means delivery should be in the next day or two. I'm really looking forward to concluding this saga....

hi sally im pretty sure that all beads are stamped, especially the newer ones. some parts of the stamp may be faded but at least some part of it you should be able to read. maybe you could go into a pandora store and find the same bead and compare?

Sally T. Look for the ALE and 925 in the center of the bead, underneath the curliques (they sort of blend into the overall design). You should be able to find them there!
