Thank you so much for doing this for all of us :ghi5:Now as soon as I can borrow a camera with macro function I will start to post pix!

yea, I am starting to not trust Paypal. I mean you can't tell someone to get a letter from a jeweler at 8:30 at night. I was ready to ship the beads yesterday, they told me not to, and then I get an email saying I have to now send a letter and all of this other nonsense. I am just going to go through my CC company because I don't want to be scammed out of $250 USD
Well I just learned that my returned bead package cleared customs in the Netherlands (they've had the envelope since May 1st). Now I wait to see when it is delivered and then how long it takes for the refund to be posted.... It's been almost 2 weeks since I started the claims process!

There is a marketplace but you have to apply for access to that portion of tPf. Go to the instructions for the forum and it will give you the info you need, as well as discussion about buying/selling prohibitions, etc. It would be great if we could have a section on the marketplace for Pandora swapping!
Ok i will check it out and Thanks for the info, I love to buy on ebay but hate to sell on there because of their high fees and paypal fees. I much rather save that money and pass it on to the buyer.... i wish someone can start a section for swapping too

So I re-emailed Jewels this morning and by 2:00 I had an e-mail from PayPal on behalf of Jewels-2005 that he is issuing me a refund. Then I had to click on something to accept it. So it appears that the refund went through, but I'm still not seeing any kind of credit to my credit card. Does anyone know if this usually takes awhile? Or should it have been there right away?

This is the first time I have ever had to go through PayPal for a return/claim so I don't know how long it should really take. I suspect that if a credit card is involved it might be 24 hours BUT look at how fast PayPal takes $$ from us -- seconds for a transaction.....

I know, it's funny that as soon as you buy something you can go check your credit card statement online and it's there in a couple of minutes, but as soon as they have to give the money back -- not so fast!

I think it gets refunded to your paypal account then you can transfer it to your bank account... but I'm not totally sure... check your paypal available balance

I think the sudden success with jewels is more to do with the fact that their activities seem to be suspended. I looked on his feedback page and there is loads more neg feedback . And no items are for sale which is unusual i reckon ebay are finally getting the message at long last

I hope their "disappearance" from ebay won't mean that the possibility of our refunds have disapeared with them  :pout:

Hello ladies! My local jewellers held an event last night to celebrate opening their new Pandora "store within a store" and for every £50 spent they gave a £10 gift voucher, so what better time to start bracelet number two!! I also finally managed to bag the dog and two muranos - turquoise spot and an aquay coloured stripe - here I go again!! I also bought my mum the owl and she bought herself the faith, hope and charity so her bracelet has now been officially started - I got her hooked! The store was absolutely heaving with around 3 customers per sales assistant, and there were about 12 assistants!! I now have £30 in vouchers, oh what to buy next!! I shall take some shots tonight and do my best to upload onto our spanking new thread!

Well, when I talked to paypal they told me that the reason they want the letter from the jeweler is because they are looking to permantly suspend Jewels2005... so hopefully I can find a jeweler to write a letter... I know many don't like bringing their business into it.. even though they'd be doing so much good for the ebay community!

Hi Ladies - gosh there is so much going on here at the moment it is difficult to keep up! And the new picture thread is wonderful.

Forgive me for posting this request again but please can anyone help with the following query that I posted yesterday.

I've just been given a gold charm as a present and it was bought on Ebay. I can't find an ALE 585 mark on it anywhere. Are all charms stamped? This one is the 'Feeling Groovy' bead, # 75421. Does anyone else have one of these in either silver or gold and, if so, does yours have the relevant marks and where?

Thanks for any help with this!
