I agree, it's fun to create something that is so personal. The butterfly is such a pretty bead - nice start! I've really gotten hooked on the champagne CZ stones, they are such a pretty color and neutral too - I love how they look with the silver/14kt beads. Lots of sparkle! Be sure and let us know what other beads/clips you get with your bracelet - have fun shopping and enjoy!

I just received a Pandora bracelet for my birthday from a friend, and I'm trying to get educated quickly on the best way to build a bracelet! Are chamilia beads and biagi beads compatible with the Pandora bracelets, and do they have that great screw type mechanism that Pandora has for its beads? Do you recommend going to aan authorized store in person, or do most of you order your beads from an authorized seller on-line?

Thanks for any help and info.!

Hey melanie, you can read thru past pages here for lots of answers to your questions! As i understand it, only Pandora has the threaded screw-on system - that's what makes it different. The quality is so nice, IMO, and the designs seem more 'adult' and elegant. You can go to the P. corporate website and use their store locator to find ones in your area. Enjoy!

So, I finally got my first bracelet today! I tried to get it yesterday but the store was out of my size, so I had to get it somewhere else today. I got the bracelet and 4 charms, plus the butterfly that was a present from a friend, so I'm on my way. I bought the dangle birthstone charms for my 2 sons birthdays, the bear charm because "Bear" is my youngest son's nickname, and the frog because my older son is obsesses with frogs.
I can't wait to get more charms. These bracelets are sooo pretty. Even with only a few charms they still look nice.

Katielady, sounds really pretty! I know what you mean - the silver is so weighty and nice that even with just a few beads, it's a pretty piece. I have 2 clips on mine, and 5 beads between the clips, and I like it just the way it is. Of course, that won't stop me from adding beads...! I'm eager to see what the new fall beads will look like.

I love that Bear is your son's nickname! How cute.

The only reason I didn't get clips was so I could get more beads instead. I can't wait to see the fall beads too!

Well, I like that they keep the beads together at the 'top' of my bracelet. I have the S clips that are a swirly oxidized pattern. The oval lights bead is really pretty and sparkly - I have the champagne color. And my first bead was the asian happiness symbol. Check out belloparadiso.com - 10% off and although the site is kinda awkward to navigate, they have great service. I've ordered twice from them. Also, I got a few of my beads on eBay and saved 20-25% - so I can justify this new hobby/obsession of mine!

hi =) i've recently gone ga-ga over Pandora too! and started the beads.. i've only got 3 on my bracelet now. still saving for the rest as i'm trying my best to juggle my savings on handbag and these gorgeous charms! can i see some pics?!? i want to WOW over them :)

Chamilia, Biagi, and Pandora are interchangeable. They all screw on. They will also fit on Troll bracelets. Troll beads, however, do not work on any bracelet other than Troll. They do not screw on.
I buy my beads on line to save tax, and most sites offer free shipping.

^ ohh.. i didn't know that. thanks bagshopr! i saw a jewelry shop near the pandora store selling chamilia! i'm torn between getting their disney ones or more pandora.. *spoilt with choices!* :tispy:

A friend of mine was told by a jewelry store that sells Pandora that if you put Chamilia charms on a Pandora bracelet, the charms could slice the bracelet. I've always heard that they were compatible and there are a few Chamilia charms I'd like to have, but not if it's going to hurt my Pandora bracelet. So what's the real deal ladies, lol.

Here's my (updated) Pandora bracelet with my new Trollbead 'Pink Prism' which I wear on a necklace since I don't have a TB bracelet yet.

okay..didn't have time to read every post so don't know if anyone has done this--I bought my mom one for mothers day and she LOVED it..anyways she wanted to add her original diamond from her e-ring and a small pendant that my dad gave her as a gift when they were married so our jeweler was able to take two of the dangle charms and clip off the original dangle and attach her two pendants--it turned out amazing--just wondering if any of you have done this?

I just got 2 new Pandora beads and can't take my eyes off my bracelet! It's an obsession...;-D

Vicky's bracelet is oh-so-pretty, isn't it? There are so many lovely variations, we will always have a one-of-a-kind piece.
