We're heading to Europe soon on a 12 day cruise to a few ports in Scotland, Ireland, Channel Islands and Paris. We leave and come back to Amsterdam.

What are the odds I'll find Pandora over there???

You'll definately find them in Amsterdam. You should go to www.pandorasite.nl The site is in dutch but it isn't that hard to understand.
You should go to "verkooppunten" *bottom, 3rd from the right*
Where it says "vul de 4 cijfers van je postcode in" you should type 1077
Then it gives you the addresses pandora is sold in Amsterdam.

I hope I helped :smile1:

I have a Pandora bracelet and the Chamilia beads fit on it fine.

Make sure you spell Chamilia the correct way when surfing the internet. Here's their main webpage: http://www.chamilia.com/
Yeah, i realized later I wasn't spelling it right at all :shame:

Thanks!

That's a great idea to check Etsy-- I hadn't even thought of that. For the silver or gemstone beads, I only want authentic Chamilia and Pandora, but for the glass ones I don't care as long as they're pretty and the insides are 925 silver.

All of you have such beautiful Pandora bracelets and know SOOOOOOOOO much about these awesome bracelets - I have to have one now... but I am not sure what size to get..... how did you pick your size? My wrist seems normal - I have never had any problems with bracelets before? Also - do you find it best just to buy these from a local jewelry store, the internet or ebay? It seems so confusing with all the different brands... Do you think Pandor ais the best choice???? I am so confused : )

I purchased my base bracelet off of eBay after trying them in the store to decide what size I needed. The larger charms really take up a lot of room, so you may need a much larger bracelet than you think you need at first. I started with a 7.1 and I have a tiny wrist. I ended up having to size up to a 7.5 when I finished it. I am using the original 7.1 one to start a new bracelet.

I also started out with a Chamilia and was very disappointed in their charms. Most of the oxidation came of them even though they never got wet. I actually sent 4 of them back to the seller after about a month and only have my frog prince left.

I have 15 Pandora charms and 1 Chamilia and only have room left for 1 charm. I am thrilled with the quality and detail of the charms.

The woman at the jewelry store told me that the empty bracelet should be ~1 inch bigger than your wrist.

^ I got my mom a bracelet for mother's day and when I tried on the 7.1 it fit great (my mom and I both have normal-to-tiny wrists) but after we filled it with beads it was too tight-so she switched to the 7.5. just keep in mind the bracelet "shrinks" with the addition of beads.

I have ordered from currentsgifts.com many times and always enjoyed prompt shipping and perfect beads. They sell Troll and Pandora. The brand you choose is totally up to you, they are all wonderful. What is unique about Troll is that you can put any brand bead on it, whereas Pandora (or Biagi, or Chamilia) can not take Troll beads.
With Troll, you purchase a clasp separately, so the beads slide on/off without having to twist them. Their inner holes are smaller.

I can't wait - I am getting my frist pandora bracelet & 4 charms in the mail - I ordered from www.pandora-beads.com - I hope they ship fast!!! Can't wait : )))) Plus I ordered 4 pretty glass beads off Ebay that say they work on the bracelet... hopefully so.... if not - I have 4 cute beads to do something with!

It's true, you will not believe how much smaller your bracelet is once you get all your beads on it. Get it at least an inch bigger than your wrist. At first it will seem too big, but that won't last long. I have found that the glass beads take up more room than the sterling ones.

I want one! I am just so overwhelmed with the choices. lol
It is overwheming, I agree. I finally started with a cat, because I love cats. It was the only bead I had at first. Then it just took off from there.
I would start with something you love, like a cat or a dog or a symbol, or maybe your initial or birthstone. Then buy one or two glass beads in a color you love.
