Pandora Bracelets anyone?

Golden Touch, I am very sorry for your loss. Though it will be difficult, I hope you have a great time on your vacation.

Yesterday I also went to a bunch of dealers who were doing a bracelet promotion and I managed to get 4 bracelets! I dragged a male friend as my accomplice to help me get my girlfriends started on their bracelets! I know...I'm bad...I'm spreading the addiction around! I did however get myself the ebb and flow bead since I was so good and had not purchased anything for myself in awhile. Now I did splurge a little since I also ordered myself a prebirthday present...which is next month. I finally broke down and bought the retired Taurus bead from an aussie ebayer and I can't wait to get it! Aussie ladies, how quickly does post from there get to the states? Specifically, Florida? I hope everyone enjoys a relaxing Sunday!

Has any one here come across what appear to be Pandora Watch / Time beads - beads that I assume tell the time and can be added to our bracelets???

I found these when searching for the new Spring 2009 beads on European sites and clicked on the following link: www.lychi.be

I've never come across these in the UK.

Of the two time charms, which do people prefer?

I think I like the classique ones better because it is a round charm with a hole in the middle where the bracelet is threaded through (like a proper bead) whereas the pandora one seems to just have the watch at the front with a clip at the back (almost like a clip bead)... do you think it would constantly be spinning round so the watch face was not showing. That would drive me mad!!

Out of the 2, I think the classique looks more expensive but the pandora one seems smaller which I would ideally prefer (like the same size as normal pandora beads?)... hmmmmm, what to do......?

Has anyone got any further info on the release date for the pandora watch in the UK? I have contacted Classique direct and they will ship to the UK, in case anyone's interested.

Do any of you girls like the new gold filigree ball that sort of looks like lace? I think that for those that like a bit of gold this one has a lot of coverage and size for the money $261 compared to the other gold beads. It is no. 75458.

I am aiming for 3 gold beads and would like this one to be my centre bead. Although I change my mind daily.

I LOVE that one! Out of all the new beads, it's my favorite. I think making it your center sounds fabulous! I'm glad to see someone else noticing how special it is

Ok, I can tell you my opinion in a second. I like the Pandora one because it is the smaller size and has a `diamond`. I think it is sweeter and whould blend in better.

The Classic bead on the other hand, takes all the attension due to its large size and the bracelet then looks like a very bulky (weird) watch.

Pandoraholic- Do you sell tupperware....I love tupperware!!!!! I once had a party at my home just for me!!!!! One thing thats been on my mind it to replace all my lids to black as the bright blue is so blahhhh.

As for the P. & the Pea.....Ive decided it will always be a slice of cream layer cake with a cherry in there to me. (Black Forrest). I just cant get past seeing food everywhere I look.

Daisy Lorraine- The idea of the retired beads selling for so much really points to sellers being so greedy. Im glad that you can get them from normal sellers who are still making a decent profit.

Izzy`s Mum- Great Haul!!!! And I LOL about your not wanting to go down the 14K path of Pandora! It is a slippery slope indeed which I am sort of on myself. And whats really weird is Im a sworn white gold girl.....havent even looked at yellow gold for about 10 years!!!!!!! I have had every piece of jewellery either made or replated to white gold or silver like yellow was a plague. But Pandora`s gold is really pretty....

Pandoraaahh - I saw someone wearing the gold filigree bead (on a gold bracelet) and it looked really amazing. I havent seen it on the silver bracelet.

And fwiw, my 6 y. old looks so gorgeous with her tiny Pandora. I will take a photo. You would be surprised at all the people who noticed it. The pandora really has a quality about it that just shines through.

there is Pandora`s picture of the new beads on their showcase bracelet. It looks really really decedent and rich with lots of green black and gold on a black oxydised bracelet. It has all my favourites with the gold filigree ball, the gold teddy and even the silver elephant. And it is really strong looking, a totally new bold Pandora!!!!!

I cant believe how the bracelets are so easily changed in looks from girly pretty to really seriously rich and powerful!!!!

ETA- you can click it to see it bigger. Its really beautiful and I cant stop studying it to try to take it in.

I love the sound of the ones you got- I'm a pink girl- think i have the flower- is it the silver flower with 4 holes each side and a pink CZ in each of the 3 sides??? I LOVE that one 2- it was my favorite for ages. The clips you got with pink stones were they the 2 tone ones??? I'm thinking of getting those for my silver bracelet and the 2 tone safetychain- so much for sticking with just silver!!! I added my pink/Gold mystic murano to my silver chain so it does need a little more gold to balance it out- Decided not to put any muranos on my 2 tone bracelet.

Also different topic.... maybe Im seeing things but is it even possible that in Americathey are selling the humble fish bead for $219 US, the dice for $149 US and the silver ordinary strawberry for $299 US?????

These are just $30 here in Oz, retired or not!!!!!!

The strawberry one really gets me....and you dont even want to think about the gold strawberry. Do people really pay such prices when there are really so many other beads to choose from????

If I was ever to spend so much on one bead you would be sure that it would have to have a really big diamond stuck in there somewhere!!!!! And even then its not going to happen!!!!! Thats crazy expensive.


I actually have a loose 3 carat diamond from another project and I was going to have it set into a Pandora bead. But Im thinking that the risk of ruining a bead might be too high and the gold beads are too exy to experiment with. And, I cant decide which silver bead `needs` a diamond. LOL

Im really bad at choosing sometimes.

I assume they give Pandora retailers a suggested price to sell the retired beads for? I usually use that site to figure out which are worth the most! LOL then I hunt them down on ebay!

I just got the pandora turquoise dangle that they have listed for $499 for $80! I wish I could sell them to elisa illana! I'd be making a HUGE profit!!!

I would be nervous about putting a 3 karat diamond into a bead.. that's a hugeee stone for a tiny bead! you may want to have a bead designed by a jeweler that would fit on the pandora bracelet but be unique to guarantee the stone won't fall out? I just wouldn't risk setting it into a Pandora bead since the beads are so small!

I just won the World Health bead on ebay for $71! I'm jumping for joy!!
