Hi there!

i was wondering if u are familiar with Charmilia Charms?

i bought one of their charms (gift box GA 113) from at a retail store (in Aus) but not sure if i got a fake??? only because on their official website this charm has certain engravings on top of the charm whereas mine has the engraving CHARM 925 ON THE BOTTOM OF THE GIFT BOX!!!

Can u help me out, its been stressin' me heaps! n if so Y DOESN'T IT HAVE THE SAME PRINTS AS ON THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE?

Good Morning Everyone! So, I went "window shopping" yesterday, having bought 4 beads already over the past week.. but whaddya know? My local retailer had a new delivery in yesterday and there was the silver ball with crown on top that I had been wanting so badly...so I'm now £50 poorer but a whole lot happier!! :D I'm actually getting recognised in that store now and the manager told me that all the ladies on her computer system will be getting an invitation to an event they are having in collaboration with Pandora in a hotel one evening - with offers and goodies etc. How excited was I? Very excited I can confirm, until she told me it wasn't till October! "October?" I said "I'll be on my third bracelet by then!!" - I'm starting to sound obsessed, please help.

No help required. Look on the bright side. How much alcohol can we not afford because we are wearing it. :roflmfao:Must be better for our liver. No excuses needed as far as I am concerned.
I am off to the local Jewellery night tomorrow to see the new beads. Wonder which new one I will come home with?

ChocolateAlful - please don't kid yourself, you say you wonder which one you will come home with, thats singular!! Its not worth going all that way for just one surely?!! Thanks for lessening my guilt trip - healthy liver, pretty wrist - win win situation!!

Congrats!! How exciting! Yea, they have really really good prices on all of the retired beads... I was lucky to find that site in Google and was so happy to share it with you all!

I am so jealous of you ladies in Australia being able to buy the new beads already. We, in the States, have to wait until mid April; I'm yearning for that new elephant. :nuts:

Loladahling you had me cracking up so true about our livers; I don't want to spend money on anything but purses and Pandora. :amuse:

Muggles - Good Work! I shall try and post some pics at the weekend, after my 11 yr old son picks me a bead for Mothers Day - I'll be paying but its the thought that counts! :laugh: Can't believe I've nearly completed a bracelet since Valentines Day, and the best part is that the boyf can't complain as he started me on this slippery slope - what he doesn't realise is that I want to start a second one v.soon! :idea:

I guess the difference is if you just want beads to add to the bracelet, then you can go to ebay and get ones for $2 or $3 from China.
It's like difference between a designer purse or a cheap knock off. Personally I prefer the original and the quality that goes with it.
If I like a bead enough from one of the other companies I might add it (I have 3 non Pandora beads over 5 bracelets) but I won't buy beads just because they are similar and they are cheap. Of I couldn't afford Pandora, then I would rather go without.
However each to their own, but I do find the " I would NEVER spend that kind of money on a bracelet such as these" quite an offensive statement, what is "such as these" meant to mean? Cheaper is not the same, and it is not 'better', but if you are happy with your cheaper beads, then that's great for you.

Hi all. Just back from the Pandora show & tell night. The new beads look fab in real life. It was dissapointing in the fact that they only received them this morning from Pandora. The Teddy Bear I wanted was limited to a delivery of three all of which was used on display tray for others to see so not for sale. Ying Yan bead was nowhere to be seen.
The new Pandora bead book for 2009 is out with the price increases. It has all the new additions in it as well. What ever is discontinued this year is still a mystery. All beads in the new book are in the old one.

I plan on my bracelet being all Pandora! The crab bead is camilia and is going to my MOM! Just like I only want a certain designer handbag, I only want Pandora beads on my pandora bracelet! Makes sense!

Wow was it fun??? A show and Tell night for PANDORA here in Australia???? Did they do ANYTHING special???? Where abouts was it????

I'm a PANDORA girl- I do not have any other beads on my bracelet. I bought 2 cheaper beads on ebay- before I even decided which bracelet to get- I then saw Pandora in the shops a few days later and that's when my new love affair started- hence when the new cheaper beads arrived I gave my 4 year old them to play with and one has turned out to be plated even though the seller said it was solid sterling silver- so beware of the cheaper beads- i'd NEVER buy anything other than PANDORA now.
