I recommend a silver cleaning cloth by connoisseurs i have just bought off ebay.I used one a while ago & my local stockist closed down & that was that so i couldn't by any more. There are two cloths, one to remove tarnish, the other to buff the beads up. Not bad for £3.50 with p & p for free considering they are normally around the £5-£6 mark & it's huge compared to the tiny rag you get off Pandora!

I tried this and I think it is working...I am thinking my other cloth was too old as I have had it for several years! My bracelet already looks tons better!!!!:yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:I polished for almost 45 min stopping so the bracelet could cool off. It was very hot! It looks so much better! Thanks for telling me about this!

If pandora said that to me "we will dip the bracelet" I would tell them go take a running jump! I would ask why, since the website doesn't say silver plated. It sounds like a con to me.

NO not getting it redipped. I think what they were referring to is where they dip the silver in Rhodium - it is suppose to help with tarnishing. That is what a lot of manufacturers do to silver - ever noticed how it looks like white gold all shiny?? That is due to the Rhodium I would assume. Same thing with white gold. My engagement ring on the bottom of the band has yellowed. The jewelery store recommends redipping every 3-5 years.

BUT NO I will not redip - it is looking much better! I really think it didn't help with my perfume and lotion always touching the bracelet PLUS the way I stored it. After learning so much I really cannot fault Pandora. It is all on me.

I'm so glad. :) Keep going!

Would of been nice if the sa were knowledgeable though. Would of thought it would be in the basic Pandora training! If i am wearing my bracelet i have gotten into the habbit of not putting lotion or perfume on the arm & wrist i am wearing it on.

How is the bracelet doing? Have you got all the tarnish off yet?

OMGG!! this happened to my bracelet too... it was at the point where it looked yellow-ish

my friend then suggested i leave it in vinegar for 30-40 mins and it worked!

i just used a glass bowl and covered it with a glass plate and voila~ it looked as NEW after the 40 minutes!! this really worked for me and i am so happy :) cheap and effective.

Hi, Yes, sorry to hear of this. Just last week I almost purchased a bracelet. I have two sterling silver bracelets, one James Avery, one with a pearl from etsy, both of which I have worn constantly for years, with no wear and tear. At home, I began to research Pandora jewelry. I have never heard of sterling silver with so many problems. I don't think it's your skin chemistry at all. I think it's the Pandora metals.

My boyfriend got me one last xmas ( 2012) and I have worn it everyday, I don't take it off.. I have noticed mine also looking either tarnished or like the silver is peeling away I'm not sure, but my family says tarnish. The black within the Logo on the clasp is chipping away and it's mostly silver now, and one of the gems in a charm fell out. I was told by two stores it was a fake, but I have the box, and all the charms are marked with the engraving, and my boyfriend swears he'd never by a fake... After reading this I'm wondering if it's really just the bracelet? Why would Pandora lie about them being fake?!

Hi, I am experiencing the same problem with my Pandora bracelet that I received as a Christmas present last year. Some of the silver pieces are turning a rose gold bronze color. I thought my son may have purchased on Ebay and that someone put fake beads on it until I read your post. Thank you for the info!

If the Pandora shop put it in their tumbler, would that work?
Having the bracelet tumbled is the best solution to cleaning the bracelet & restoring it to a high finish again. It is generally recommended to not use a cleaning cloth on these bracelets.

I work at a jewelry store that is an authorized pandora retailer, we only tumble bracelets when brought in for cleaning.

Bagaday, do all the charms have to be removed first, or can the complete bracelet be put in the tumbler for cleaning?
