I had a couple of days off of work, but it's back to the office tomorrow -- days off go by far too fast (and work days move way too slow!)

I've had four days off (work was closed), I first planned going on some daytrips here but the spring/summer vegetation isn't up just yet. It's been sunny warm weather though.

I was at Barneys the other day and they had several PS1s in stock -- I checked out the large (first time I've seen one in person!) and made up my mind -- definitely one of the next bags on my list!! Now to decide if I should trade in my Medium in order to get the Large or keep the Med and add the Large to my bag collection?
I'm just thinking that if I get the Large, I may not really need the Medium all that much anymore as I rarely change out my bags (I used my Medium PS1 for 4 months straight and only switched it out when I bought a Celine Luggage!!)

@ iluvmybags & elliespurse --- I feel exactly the same way. I only have a small collection. But, I'm also streamlining and decided to part with 3 of my bags. Like both of you, I'd really like a small PS collection as well --- 2 satchels, 1 keepall, 1 pochette.

But, I love the satchel in large size as I feel it suits my needs more. And, with the price difference, the large seems to be more value for money. Oiiiii..... I'm sooooo confused!

^^To add to this question, does an iPad fit comfortably in the medium and could you also fit a wallet, MU purse, etc. with it? I am considering one in a pop color to accompany my large birch. TIA!

It looks like a tight fit without padded case on the iPad though.
^ Hi Elliespurse! I'm 5' 10'' (178 cms) and have a medium, I think it's the perfect size. It doesn't look small on me at all. I tend to travel light, wallet, cosmetic pouch, keys, sunnies, and iphone. But as you can see in the pics at reference thread it can hold much more and the ipad fits in easily. Maybe you can try it out at the store and ask the SA to let you put your stuff in it, to have an idea. And if it is spacious enough I'd say don't worry about it looking too small on you, there is not much difference between medium and large afterall. HTH.
Thanks deryad!! We are about the same height, and it's great you think the size is perfect. I'm also looking for a little variation from my large, trying it out in the store is great suggestion - I think I'll do that! TY
^^^ I'll add to the discussion here. I think Medium is the perfect size for an everyday purse. I'm only 5'3", though. For a work bag that would be able to hold an Ipad comfortably, the Large would probably be more suitable.

I only carry my sunglasses, one cosmetic bag, wallet, keys and phone most of the time. The Medium has room for all this and more, so it's a better fit for my lifestyle.
I might keep the Smoke Medium, or return it and wait for the upcoming f/w Burgundy. I already have my pop color in Maize, so just need one neutral PS1 to balance my collection. Smoke is beautiful, but Burgundy would also work as an interesting neutral. Plus, Smoke will be available every season while Burgundy will be limited only to f/w 2011.

Hi there - yes that's birch, but that photo is a bit lighter than the color in IRL. Will try to take another pic that is more true to the actual color which has more caramel tones. I really love it!!!
thank you for the size info riry, elliespurse and deryad. I actually use my large birch for my everyday work bag to hold files, iPad, etc. Just wondering if I supplemented with a medium size occasionally could I still carry at least the iPad when I don't have files to cart around. I am in
