Overstock.com Authenticity

I bought a Fendi Silvana (red/brown/black handle) from Overstock (not auction) last summer. I brought it to a Fendi store and compared every details of the bag. I believe it is authentic. But it has a bit sign of wear. I contacted Overstock and they offered for full refund and explained it could be a store display item. I persuaded them to provide $200 discount, so I ended up paying about $1500 (no taxes) (Norstrom $2200+taxes) + getting overstock points for about $170 for future purchase. Overall, it is a really good deal.
They sound like a pretty reputable company. I would hope that they are real. If you buy from there, you can always take your purchase to a store to have it authenticated. Hopefully you can get your money back if it's not genuine
I recently purchased a Balenciaga Classic City for $1260 (their sell price was $1399 plus my 10% off coupon). I just got the bag today and keep wondering if it's authentic too. For example, the zippers are not Lampo (it just says B) like most people say the authentic ones would have. But I read somewhere that Balenciaga made that change in 2014. Does anyone know about this?
I returned two Chloe Faye bags for the same reason. Did you get your refund from Overstock after you returned the item? I returned mine and Overstock stated that they will contact me in a few days via a returns specialist because they are high value items. I am really hoping that they do not give me any issues.
Just got a Fendi lei selleria from Overstock. It came overnight and was SUPER fake. The leather smells so bad, don't even know if its leather. The quality is horrible. I took it to the Fendi store and they laughed and said never buy a bag from Overstock. I want to report them.
I just bought a Chloe Faye and Drew bag on overstock and questioned the authenticity of the Faye. The Chlole stamp was very noticeably off center. Other than that the bags smelled and felt like very nice leather. I submitted my request for return online and there was no problem getting the return authorization. They're shipping back today. I just couldn't keep them them knowing I had doubts.
Oh good I"m glad it worked out. Yes the black Faye had a completely different font style and size for the stamp and the leather was questionable. I had a Tobacco on its way after but I refused the package at the front door so the UPS guy had to return it back. I got emailed from Overstock that I'd be refunded in full so thank God that worked out. I would not ordering any designer items from Overstock again.
Good idea to refuse the shipment! My full refund was credited to my card. Overall very good experience dealing with their returns department. When I first submitted the request, they emailed me to ask if I had all the original packing materials, dust bag, care card, etc. I did, and they approved my return within a day or two. I didn't get into the authenticity of the items, I just stated that my return reason was the color and size was not as expected. I will not be buying any high end designer items from overstock after this.
