I'd recommend the shopping section for authentic bags i.e. Fendi, Michael Kors, Rina Rich, Chinese Laundry, Prague. Avoid the auctions section. The majority of the handbags on their auction site are third party vendors selling replicas.

Overstock has gotten so many mixed reviews... to be on the safe side i'd stay away no matter how good the return policy is, but that's just because I live too far away.

Thanks!! After all of the horror stories I've heard about fakes (I even found a thread about fakes at Off 5th!!!) I'm going to stay away from these discount bags for now.

I received two Jimmy Choo bags that were in fact authenticated in the choo subforum atc! I ended up returning them w/ their security tag attached - received refund no prob!

I'm new to this. I don't know if this is the correct forum for this question, but here it goes. Has anyone bought designer bags from Overstock.com? They seem to have really great prices. I'm just wondering if the bags are authentic?

The bags that Overstock sells are real, but stay away from Overstock Auctions. They have more fakes than eBay!

My friends tell me Overstock.com will never sell a fake, but then I remember there was that incident a few years ago when Overstock.com was caught selling fake Tiffany Elsa Peretti necklaces.

I can't comment on your bag, but I personally bought a Fendi Spy from them less than a year ago and it was fake. Thankfully I was able to send it back and get a full refund. I just don't trust them for high end bags.

I've bought a BV bag and wallet from them, both authentic and great deals. No idea about other brands. They do have a good return policy.

I can't speak for other brands, but I purchased a Fendi Spy from them and it was fake. I compared it with my authentic Spy and the members of the Fendi boards also agreed it was fake. Luckily I was able to return it and received a full refund.

I think you're safe to purchase the bag, Overstock is reputable but they seem to have had issues in the past with fakes (probably people returning fakes to them). They have an excellent return policy, so you should be okay if there are any doubts.
