Congratulations to you too!!
I was very surprised at how comfortable these are. I tried on every pair of combat boots and no luck. Then these were an immediate relief. I’ve been looking for stylish sneakers for the longest time but I have the worst feet. Wide, flat and humongous bunions. And these accommodated all that. I wanted something with no monogram but the little bit doesn’t bother me. I’m going to get a lot of wear out of these. Cheers!

A couple of comments:

It's not heavy at all IMO

The leather is very pliable but there's enough structure between the zipper and the design to keep it from collapsing into itself. The bottom is soft--it's not reinforced to maintain a flat bottom (if that makes sense!).

The bottom corners don't seem to flare as much as they appear in photos--maybe it's an optical illusion since there's a bit of roundness to the base. The folded corners don't bother me at all.

The shoulder strap is more useful than I expected.

I have 2 Almas (1 mono and 1 Vernis) and they are both definitely stiffer than this one but overall the size and shape is very similar.

It looks so beautiful and I also prefer that the botton is not reinforced. I dislike bags that stick out from the side of the person carrying. Enjoy your new beauty - she's très chic.
