So if you have a regular SA why not just order in what you are desiring? I understand What you’re saying but ordering is much easier even if I decide not to purchase the bag when it arrives - it’s not an issue because they could use the inventory right.

Even an LV employee I spoke with agreed it's bad, and that they don't feel like LV is giving them the resources (inventory) to meet their full sales potential.
A lot of SA's have to go out of their way to source items, and when they do, they make the customer feel like was such a hard task to find the item, to take their $2500.00.

I feel like the Asian & European markets are taken care of, though.

In the last couple of weeks, I was looking for a bag charm/key holder, which doesn't show as discontinued in LV's system, but it hasn't been restocked in North America in over a month, yet every other market has it available for purchase on their website. (yes, able to place the item in your cart for checkout)

I almost ended up using ShopandBox to purchase the Key holder, but I was able to find it at Retail, from a Seller in Germany, on eBay.

I'm in Europe. There are empty drawers in my shop. Yesterday I couldn't buy anything that I wanted.

Because you may want to look at several different pieces and compare and you can’t have your SA order three bags for you.... and because the wait time sucks. Some bags aren’t even available to waitlist or order at all....

I have been wanting to get the Speedy 25 DE classic for awhile but it always said call for availability and if it did show up place in cart I would check hours later and would be the same call for availability.
So decided to call LV website number and they said I could place and pay for the order that they had some more on the way . So I did placed the order and I am expecting my Speedy this Tuesday. If you see it available to place in cart you must buy it quick because I have seen it available on and off in matter of hours. The same goes for the Pochette Accessoires.

Hmm I have ordered three bags at a time. My SA understood I was trying to decide between the three and no problem there. I can understand the bags that have wait list. . .

When items become scarce, the secondary market flourishes. People will snap up the desirable hard to find items and re-sell them at over retail. It has been the same with Chanel but Chanel does monitor its buyers and if they think you are buying to resell, they will restrict your purchases. There are a few things I have been looking at but paying over retail doesn't give me a good feeling so I don't. I'll just keep waiting.

I suppose it's about change and for some of us, it's not fun. I'm fairly new to lux shopping, maybe 10 years, and up until about a year or so ago, the fun for me was researching, watching youtube reviews on bags, setting money aside until I had the right amount saved, then off I went for a fun day of shopping, lunch out in Dallas, and the bag would be there. I have one Chanel and one Hermes, but those were flukes that just happened to work out. I really don't like the idea of having to make each handbag purchase be a fluke, like with Chanel or Hermes. I tell ya-it's a bummer to me!

My last 3 handbag purchases were YSL and Celine. With all three of those purchases, I did my research and fun YouTube watching, then I walked in with money and walked out with a bag. Imagine that?!!! lol!! I know, I know, LV lovers are saying to me "don't let the door hit you on the ass on your way out!" But, breaking up is hard to do! Perhaps not so much a break up, but it's created an open relationship with other fashion houses! Maybe that's not such a bad thing. I am enjoying more variety.

Yes ma’am I have several times. Now of course I am not aware of any rule saying you cannot. I mean to me the left over bag you do not chose is inventory for them. I would definitely just ask your SA and explain that you are choosing between the bags.

I feel EXACTLY the same way. I am for the first time in 15 years entertaining the idea of buying other brands.....maybe not breaking up BUT it is annoying as crap that standard SLGs and regular (not LE) are not in stock....and as far as ordering multiple bags in that's not really an option when at least half of the things on your list are apparently so sought after that they are not even allowed to put names down on a list much less order it for you.

Yes I know , I have been checking on and off for fun for the Speedy DE 25 classic . For example early this morning online it was not available and before noon it was then I check again this afternoon and it was not available, What I don't understand is how can one particular item can be available to buy online with an on and off available to purchase the same day. Luckily I was able to call LV website number and order one that was one the way I am expecting mine around this Tuesday. ( Speedy 25 DE ) I am soooo excited can't wait to get it.
