Those are so cute! What size did you go up? 1/2 or whole? I also have wide feet but didn’t get a chance to try on shoes at my last H visit.
I saw etoupe orans in Paris, about a year and a half ago. I nearly purchased but they had a white wash on the heel so decided against it. I regretted it when I got home but couldn’t find them in the USA or Australia. My friend in London purchased a pair so they were available in London and Paris but unfortunately a while ago now.
I’ve always been buying size 39 on any H shoes coz of my wide feet, although it can be an inch or so longer. But with other shoes I’m normally 8.5 so 1/2 an inch maybe? Best to try them in person, I’m sure they’ll look good on you. My DH liked them on me even though he’s used to me just wearing sneakers or boots.
I got them in Etoupe back in 2016, back then my SA said it was the last pair in my size in U.S. However Etoupe is a classic color, I am sure you can get them, if not this season, might be the next. In H we always have to practice our patience in order to get the EXACT specs. [emoji6]
I bought the oasis in etoupe years ago, but I don't think I've seen that in oran lately.
Hi! Apologies if this has been addressed already, but have a sizing dilemma. Hubby ordered for me for my bday in. 37. I am a true USA 6.5 and go between 36.5 (Valentino, ysl, sergio Rossi) and 37 (loub). I have a regular width foot bordering on narrow. The 37 appears perfect length wise but they are a touch loose across the h strap. My concern is how much they will potentially stretch? Unsure if it’s better to stick with a good length in a 37 or erring on the side of caution with stretch, try a 36.5 but risk my heel being near to the end or coming off slightly. Would appreciate any and all input! The style is the classic leather in color gold.
It will be like in any other Hermes boutique, just walk in and if they have your size and color you can purchase right away ! Is not like you are getting a bag , they sell it to anyone and everyone.
As long as they have your size available it shouldn’t be an issue. The Oran sandal has to be one of Hermès’ top-selling item. It’s an entry-level product for the brand and they sell a lot of them, no question.
hi everyone! I have 2 pairs of Oran sandals - one all black and the gold with white stitching. Now that we have moved to Miami, I find myself considering either all white, White with the colored stitching (gold? Brown?), or navy. Thoughts? This is for weekend wear. I tend to wear casual dresses in neutral colors and carry a garden party in etoupe, the tan/brown, or a grey or black Goyard. Perhaps the all white? Wondering if the stitching on the other white is too much. Thanks!
