Oran Sandal Sizing

Please excuse the lack of color on my toes. I just put on the base coat.
I consider myself to have “duck” feet. They are wide near the toe and narrow in the heel. I am very fortunate that the 36.5 Oran fit perfectly! They are definitely not too tight. I could, in fact, use a narrower pair, but they would be too short if I went down to a 36. Hopefully this helps someone else looking for sizing guidelines.
I am 5’2 1/2” (used to be 5’3 1/2”), weigh 108-110, U.S. size 0, and usually wear a size 7 shoe or 7.5 closed toe boot (I have long toes and big feet for my body). I wear EU shoe size 36.5-37.5, depending on if they are open toe or closed toe. I need a bigger size in high heels or boots.View attachment 5091188

It fits perfectly on you. I am Size 39 in Oran.. My U.S Size is 8 or 81/2 U.S.. Same with my Oasis. But in Legend it's true to size. I'm 38.5 EU. Hope it helps.❤️

I have a narrow foot and unsure whether to purchase 38.5 or 39 in the Oran. Thankyou.

I learned from a YouTuber that the updated oran sandals running wider than the old version. Old version == white/tan sole new version == white/white sole. can anyone confirm this is true? I'm wondering if I can call CS for the old version since the new version is too wide for my feet.

Just a quick FYI that the shearling Oran seem to fit much looser compared to the normal leather style.. has anyone else experienced that. Is it due to the slippery and fluffy shearling maybe?

Also, since I see that quite a few comments suggest that Orans are now cut wider... All my Orans feet slightly different. The leather on one pair can differ in stiffness/softness to another. In fact, in the same pair, one foot can be cut slightly wider than the other foot. And then of course, your feet differ too...
Best to always try on but generally they fit true to size I would say.

I suggest 38.5 EU in Oran. I am Size 39 in Chanel ballerina flats and espadrille. Attached file is Size 39 and Size 40 in Oran. I had a wrong size for so many times! Hope these would help.

Thanks @kristinlorraine !❤ I got the size 39.5 but I returned it because upon the size measured of my brother was 26cm. My size 39 is arriving. I'll be posting it for the comparison. It might help also for the others when purchasing Oran.

Hi everyone. I didn't want to go create a whole new separate thread for my FOOT, so I'm posting here for some advice. I'm usually a 38 EU and I got 38.5EU. They feel pretty good on me. But do you think they are too small or good fit?

I always got a wrong size from Oran Sandals. My foot measurement is 25.5 cm. I asked the SA FROM Hermes and asked advice what fits me in Oran. And they told me size 40. I got size 38 and 38.5 until I jumped to 40 and it was too big. I can't go to the store to have it try on since it's lockdown. Any help? I asked my brother to get another size. He got size 39.5 and I'm not sure yet if it fits. The SA in Hermes here in the Philippines were very maticulous of returning the item. BTW, I'm lockdown in the province and my brother is in Manila and he need to ship it to me and haven't try it on. My other references in shoe sizing is Chanel espadrilles is 39 and Chanel Ballerina flats.View attachment 5080636

Hi im from the Philippines too!! What size did you end up getting? Were you able to measure size 38.5? I think im between 38.5-39… what size are you in Birkenstock, if you have any?

I think you should consider the type of leather. A softer leather (goatskin) is likey to stretch as bit as opposed to a stiffer leather (calkskin). My Orans are TTS for goat and half a size up for calfskin. Hope that helps. Good luck!

OHMYGOD! Thank you this was sooooo helpful. My feet measures 24.5 cm but I have super wide feet. So I think I might be better off with a 39 or 39.5 i think in the Orans!

Thoughts on the fit? I would say the H feels a bit loose on my narrow foot.

So many apologies for my gross feet, it’s winter in Australia and my feet haven’t had a pedi since about April.

I have wide feet. Been wanting to get a paid of Orans. In Louboutin I'm a 40 or 40.5 In Chanel, I'm 41. I tried the Orans in house and I thought 40.5 was too small. I opted for the 41. Now I'm scared they will stretch and look too big.
