Oran Sandal Sizing

I thought it might be interesting to post these pics from the Hermes website, which show the way the models wear Oran sandals. Their feet are right up to the edge on both toe and heel. This is how mine fit me and I still wonder if I've got the right size!

It’s a matter of personal preference! I love a proper fit, almost up to the edge front and back. That way I don’t feel like I am borrowing my mom’s shoes. That said, a lot of my friends like to have lots of room at the back. So long as it’s comfortable and you like the look, it doesn’t matter ;)

I think it really comes down to comfort. The space at the back is not a concern, it’s the space at the front. The H part of the leather will stretch, so as long as you think your feet won’t slide too forward in the future it should be alright.
I actually returned these and getting a smaller size my foot was sliding a bit already and if they stretch it will be worse.

Does anyone know how the Devise sandals sizing compares to the Oran??? I bought Orans in 37.5 and after 2 wears they were far too big (gave to daughter lol). Should I get the Devise in the 37? Thanks!

Would love some feedback from people who own Oran sandals, as these will be my first pair. I’ve purchased a size 40 which is my usual size and I can’t tell whether or not I’d be better going up to a 40.5. Unfortunately this particular colour which I love is only available in either a 40 or a 41, and I feel the 41 would be too big.
I don’t have the option of confirming in store as these sizes are simply not available in the boutiques so I would love to hear from people in the know if these look okay, or if I’d be much better going half a size up (in which case I’d probably go for the gold colour).
Thank you so much!

Hello everyone! I just received the etoupe Hermes Orans I had been wanting for some time but am afraid they are too big. I’m usually a 6.5-7 and 37 in most designer shoes. I purchased the 37 and the width feels roomy and comfortable but not sure id I have too much space in the back especially when my foot move forward with walking. What do you think? Do the etoupe tend to stretch with wear?

If the width is fine for you, they are fine. I personally have to wear mine small/exact length because of my very narrow feet. My normal size is way to wide and my feet slide right out of them.

Enjoy them!!
