I always think that I can put the money for a wallet toward a bag so I am not particular about the wallets. I use wristlets and I have a coin purse. Wristlets are more convenient for me, as I have 2 small children and I can clip it on my diaper bag or on my baby bjorn or handle of my carriage. If money is not a problem then I say go for it, you could probably use it to match other things since it is brown.
Opinions on matching wallets w/your COACH bag..

I always use my gold lurex wallet. It goes with everything and I could not possibly spend the time to transfer everything every time I switch purses. Plus it is the perfect wallet for me with all its little secret hiding places and I love the way it looks. You can't see it in the photos, but it has an open pocket on the back where I have quick access to my driver's license and credit card.

All of my wallets/wristlets are black on black sig and I think that they go with everything, but I am planning on buying an LV zippy wallet in Pomme (apple red patent leather) and I think that it will go with most of my bags, but I'm not very matchy-matchy.
Thanks, Mommyville! It was the last one at the outlet after the style was discontinued. Still a fortune to me though at over $100!! But the outlet has a great return policy so I always get things, think about them, and end up returning later. This not so. There are a few on E-bay right now.

I HAVE to match... right down to the stitching and the hardware. If, for whatever reason and whatever Coach was thinking, a wallet has different color stitching than the matching/coordinating bag, I skip it altogether.

I have a few bags (signature prints) that have matching colors. I have black and canvas signature bags + wallets. However there are a few specific styled wallets and bags that I bought together because I'm really bad at saying no to uber cute things! I don't 'need' to - but sometimes I find myself buying matching items.

I change out my bags WAY to often to be bothered to change out my wallet as well. I'd definitely forget something. I don't really have any sig bags (well, one but it's turquoise) so i don't feel the need to match the colour of my bag to my wallet...if that makes sense at all. I have a Marc by Marc Jacobs wallet in White and I'm totally in love with it. I don't know how i survived without a large wallet before i got it. But, back to the topic. I think the white leather works pretty well with most of my bags.
